Literally the best restaurant in the entire Roaring Fork Valley. Excellent service, the food was incredible, and the atmosphere and ambiance were absolutely amazing. 100 percent worth it. If you’re staying in downtown Aspen, you should definitely make the trip; it’s only 25 minutes away and you absolutely can’t go wrong

Great authentic Bavarian food. Nice vibe and traditional beers, including a Dunkel. The pork schnitzel was thin and crispy, potato salad was traditional flavors of mustard and tang (but not too strong) and sauerkraut was amazing. Sausage sampler did not disappoint. The only thing that could have made this experience better was snow on the ground. Prost!

I came to brunch here with my girlfriend for the first time. I ordered the Tyrolean Bacon-Mushroom Omelette without Toast because I’m celiac. The dish was delicious. The omelette was cooked perfectly with the Carmelized onion and the mushrooms sauteed to perfection. I loved the potatoes so much!!! They were very well seasoned and had a great crunch to them. Would definitely come back for it again!

A hidden gem in the willits area!!! amazing new German restaurant that’s an instant favorite. 4 of us from different countries could not get enough of the amazing dishes! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming like the owner, who came to introduce himself, just like him the staff is very happy and friendly, and the food is outstanding. Perfectly crispy schnitzel, flavorful sausages, and classic sides that taste authentic and comforting. Great beer and wine selection to match. You can feel and taste the attention to every detail. Highly recommend !!! this place is absolutely worth a visit! We had gone back for sunday brunch and it didn’t disappoint.

Paige and I had one of the better meals here in the Roaring Fork Valley since Covid. Between server Evan, Bartender Louis and the Owner Ned offered excellent service, and the food was fantastic!!! The deviled eggs (OMG!) were great! The Caesar salad was the best I’ve had in the valley! The Jagerschnitzel and roasted/toasted spaetzle was crazy good! And oh my the panna cotta for dessert was the perfect ending to our meal.
Lots of smiles and good laughs all added to a wonderful experience.
Thank you Ned and Team….please pass this thank you along to your Chef’s!

We had a delicious meal with really fantastic service. The portions are large and the prices are really fair. Ned and his team have a great thing going. Worth a trip to Willits in Basalt for really great Schnitzel and Spaetzle , a fantastic Caesar and Deviled Eggs- Yum! Save room for the Panna Cotta. We will definitely be checking out their brunch soon.

I love Alpine House. The staff is always warm, friendly, and attentive, which makes every visit feel special. Their cocktail and beer selection is excellent, with options that pair perfectly with their incredible German-inspired dishes. The Wiener Schnitzel, Jäger Schnitzel and Schweinshaxen are absolute standouts, comforting, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. It’s one of those places you can count on for great food, great drinks, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend.

I was warmly greeted by a knowledgeable friendly bartender who started me off w a crisp Pilsner Urquell (created in 1842 in the now Czech Republic) on draft which can be hard to find.

For the Appetizer I tried the Bavarian Pretzel, a hand twisted, golden-brown pretzel baked to perfection, sprinkled with flaky sea salt and served with beer cheese and whole-grain mustard was amazing!

For my entree I had the Pork Wiener Schnitzel a deliciously golden-brown breaded pork cutlet, served with mashed potato & lingonberry jam and a squeeze of lemon. This was the tastiest cutlet I’ve had.

I had an Espresso Martini for Desert which went down too easy.

Another tap favorite is Delirium Tremens!

The Owners are there to dote on their patrons & give top notch service.
