My experience at Alpine Cafe in Helen was very nice. I found it quite charming out on the deck. The menu had some interesting items and the meal I had was fantastic. The coffee was very good too. My server was appropriately attentive and very friendly. Seems to be family oriented here and there’s plenty to look at for the kids. Highly recommended.

Just went in this morning for breakfast. Had a pretty bad experience. It took them an hour to get our food. We eventually asked them to box it since it took them so much time. I can understand they were crowded and it took time. But the food was mediocre at best. See the image of the burrito. Probably the smallest breakfast burrito I have ever seen. Definitely the first time that I have eaten a breakfast burrito that still left me hungry. The cheese grits probably didn’t see anything more than a pinch of cheese. The rest of my family ordered eggs and an omelette. Sounds like this place hasn’t heard of salt. Also pepper. The coffee was decent. Service deserves NO stars. Your money would be better spent elsewhere.

This little cafe offers breakfast until 2pm which was perfect for us since we wanted Sunday brunch. There’s a walk up coffee window or you can sit indoor or outdoor. Lots of shade and tables if you choose to sit outside and they are dog friendly and have water bowls outside.

The breakfast here is amazing! The French Toast cinnamon roll plate is out of this world. The mimosas are fantastic. If you want a great wait staff then this is the place you want. All were very attentive and kind. I will always eat here when we visit Helen.

$100. For Breakfast for 2 Adults and 2 Small Children. We had 1 omelet 1 french toast , kids 4 yr old had one scramble egg w 2 piece bacon and 1 plain biscuit, the other child 7 yr old ordered cheese sticks only they were ok Marina was good. Nothing was spectacular that we ordered and the adult food was borderline burnt it was over cooked.

We had such great time at the Alpine Cafe. We were having a hard time finding a breakfast place in Helen that did not have a long wait on mother’s day weekend. We had a German Shepherd and a chiuaua and we knew it would be hard to find a place to accommodate us. We were planning to take a to go order, but Sabrina offered to put a table on a reserved outside area to accommodate us and our dogs. The staff was super helpful and quickly set up everything for us. Sabrina brought water bowls to our dogs and treated us like VIP clients. The service was spectacular from beginning to end, one of the best services we had in a while. The food and drinks were amazing. We order the country fried steak, James’ pancakes and Josie’s french toast and everything tasted great. Thank you for making this day so special!

We were in a Helen, GA. Walked from my hotel to pick up breakfast! The service is awesome! They even have at the window to order coffee drink to go! The food was amazing and the service! Family owned ! We had the Colorado omelette and they was plentiful for 2 people. My son had the pancakes x3 and bacon. He could not finish it all because the size were big! They give plenty of food and the food was delicious! We will be back!
