No-nonsense establishment offers meat-centric meals along with other classic American dishes & beer.

Great service. I was never left waiting to order. The staff was extremely courteous and personable. Even when I went to play some games they wandered back to find me to make sure I didnt need anything. I had the wings and they were exceptional. Good crisp on the skin, still moist meat and the hot buffalo sauce was nice. They have a grrat selection of both wet and dry flavors. I will definitely be back. Prices were great as well.

Went here on saturday night as it came up as an option while passing through this town.
The food options were plentiful, and the service was attentive.
By recommendation of our server, I went for the beef brisket with mac and cheese. The meal was good, and by my standards of a reasonable price.
The live music was good (though i’m not an expert on country music), although the music on the speakers overhead remained. Between hearing Sabrina Carpenter and the local band playing with a decently powered sound system, it was at times difficult to carry on a normal conversation.
A major bonus point was that the men’s bathroom was modern and clean

Alpha is a great neighborhood pub/restaurant that just always feels right. Excellent menu, done right. The bartender Dani is excellent, on top of it, sunny personality!

I ordered DoorDash because I am in town for the night at a hotel. I got the ribeye (cooked medium) & mashed potatoes. Cost me $40.
I’ll let the pictures do all the talking. Long story short… do NOT recommend.
Edit: WAYYY too much pepper. Not that it was edible anyway.

The Alpha is truly one of our favorite places, and their Christmas decorations make it extra special this time of year. The heated patio feels like stepping into a cozy Christmas village. It’s warm, inviting, and absolutely magical. Whether you’re grabbing dinner or just enjoying a drink with friends, it’s the perfect festive spot to celebrate the season. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stopped here for Valentine’s Day. The people were very friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun. The service was quick and attentive. We really enjoyed the steak, cocktail & dessert but the baked potatoes were a bit overcooked. The menu is expansive and I would love to come back sometime and try some other options. It was nice that they took a little extra time and created a unique Valentine’s Day vibe. We loved it.

Average, but delicious food at Aplha Tavern. We had no complaints. We came about 11:30 am for lunch and it wasn’t busy. We sat on the patio. It was clean and had a great atmosphere. I forgot to get a picture of the “sticks and stones” appetizer, which were breaded cheese curds and cheese sticks. They were absolutely delcious!! I would definitely recommend this restaurant as they have an option for everyone and their food is delicious and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly, and we received our food in a timely manner.

I have mixed feelings about this place. It may be because it’s different from the old Alpha (which I loved), or the fact that it seems to have an identity crisis. The menu ranges from smoked meats to Italian dishes, and some other odd ball items. Prices seem high for what you get ($16 for a grilled cheese and fries?). The Pepperoni rolls were really good though.

Staff was friendly but the food was just ok. My chicken cheese steak tasted like tuna salad. The onion rings were extremely hard to chew. The rice that came with the chicken and broccoli was odd. Can’t even describe the taste. Pizza was good as well as the wings. Large variety on the menu so maybe you can find something you would like.

Just went for a drink, ended up having an appetizer, too. Had a basil, tomatoes pizza. Crust was great, a little heavy on the balsamic drizzle, needed a little garlic. Bartender was friendly, prompt, made good drinks. IMO…a little over priced
