Huge pizza splices! The pepperoni slice and the veggie splices were delicious. I got the hot honey drizzle on directly but I wish I got it on the side instead, since it made the pizza a bit too sweet for me. Their ranch was more dill-heavy than I used to, but I found it enjoyable. Service was friendly and efficient, especially since we came right after UNC Commencement.

A no-frills, window-order pizza joint. Huge slices, thin crust. The taste could be a little better, but compared to the wide Triangle area, this is definitely top notch. Bonus points for real pepperoni that cups during cooking. I wish it opened during the day also!

Chapel Hill lacks strong pizza options, so it’s always nice to try new options. While Alpha Pie is decent and provides a large slice that can feed for a fair price, the pizza is good but nothing exceptional and the seating is uncomfortable.

Best place after a night out! Beats NYPizza every time. Get the hot honey and ranch! Stays open late and always fun with friends. Super quick — order and get your food within 5 mins!

the pizza is so good, i could cry every time i get the chance to eat it. good pizza starts with the crust, and theirs, made with locally grown and milled flour, is outstanding. nice and crisp on the bottom (and slightly nutty? from the bottom browning in the oven) while retaining a satisfying chew. the hardest part is choosing to go with pepperoni or whatever the rotating veggie slice is when you come by. satiating from the tip to the crust, and, despite the mammoth size, still somehow always gone far too soon. until next time!

GREAT place for a slice or a pizza you can wear like a dress. But seriously these guys did great. They went above and beyond and gave us some extra for having to wait longer than expected. If you need a regular slice of pizza that ROCKS go here!

I’ve never left a Google review before, but this was a terrible experience. I was looking forward to trying it and ordered a pizza slice and beer. The cashier of course asked for my ID to confirm age, then continued to say he was not confident that my ID was real so he had to “confiscate” and I could only get it back if the police came and confirmed my age or I could provide another form of ID. I went back home and got my passport just to get my license back. It was my real ID- I don’t think the cashier knew what he was even checking for, and I’m pretty sure that holding my personal government property is illegal. Even when I brought my passport I don’t think he knew what he was looking for. I should have called the police and talked to the manager. They served me once verifying my age, but the pizza crust was burnt and the beer was bad. They also have pretty limited seating. Don’t go out of your way to go here— there’s other pizza places in Chapel Hill that are the same quality.

A great Chapel Hill late-night slice. The hot honey is a great addition, and their seasonal, local veggie slices are always fun to try.

Attention owners; I love your business model, but let me tell you a driving force to my patronage is your veggie / vegetarian pizza. Your ever evolving menu and your respect for quality is extremely interesting. I am omnivorous and I usually go for your veggie because it is the one inventive part of your kitchen. It is sometimes good and sometimes great. As a prayer to culinary greatness, please continue to allow your chefs to invest in the veggie options.
I understand that your business is gonna be geared to over-served college kids, but your veggie pizza has the potential to draw inn hard core foodies.

Listen to me: stop wasting your time with drunken pizza on Franklin Street. Go one block over and get the superior slice in Chapel Hill. lives up to the name ALPHA Pie with a fresh crust and fresh toppings from local farms, a great beer selection, pumping music, and a friendly staff that doesn’t scowl at you (IYKYK).
