My wife and I celebrated her birthday here as it is the nicest of the few restaurants open on Beech Mountain off season. We ordered the stuffed portobello mushroom appetizer, and a sirloin steak, baked potatoes and broccoli. The mushroom was excellent, as were the other items we ordered. The bread was warm and soft. In short, the meal was terrific.
Our server did a tremendous job on meeting our needs.
We were the only ones in the restaurant during the meal, so the atmosphere was a little strange. It was raining and foggy, but I’m sure in nicer weather the view would have been wonderful.
All in all, we made a great choice for a birthday dinner.

It was amazing!!super nice and friendly, with an incredible atmosphere. The pizza was delicious, very family-friendly, and there was parking available without a lot of people around. You don’t have to wait long for a table or for the food, and the servers are super kind and sweet.

We arrived right as they opened at 4 pm. We walked around to the bar as per the seating instructions. We were seated in an area full of windows with perfect views of the ski slope.
Our waiter came and took our drink orders with both of us ordering beer. He then took our food orders. I had the pecan crusted trout with linguine and herbed carrots. He had the prime rib with rice pilaf and veggies
The service was on point, and the food was absolutely amazing. White table clothes, a balcony to walk out on the great views of the ski slopes and mountains. We will definitely be going back next time we are on Beech.

A wonderful little place that served us soon before closing and took us in and treated us very well. It’s an unassuming place that offers very delicious food with a great staff. A bonus surprise was the large bourbon selection, which the owner personally helped me try out a couple new bourbons. He was very knowledgeable, and seem to generally care that I had a good experience. The food was delicious and cooked very well, and overall had a great experience. Hope to come back to see the slope view soon!

Been there years ago n it was fantastic…had the same experience tonight: food was delicious, margaritas on point! Service immaculate: our server was fantastic n very sweet! Not crowded! Everything was perfect as before! We had crab soup n calamari as appetizers, my main course was linguine w shrimp n hubby got the trout! Everything perfect! I will be back for sure!

It is very funny how similar the Florida Keys is to here. We joke about ‘Keys Time’ because everything takes a little longer (the drive, service, work, etc) including getting things done because it’s a nice day and people just call off work. This town is the same exact way but times 3!
Just kick back relax and ensure you don’t need anything immediately. Great restaurant with very friendly staff. Wednesdays are trivia which is a lot of fun!

This place obviously is annoyed by the tourists and does not seem happy or proud of what they do or what food they have to offer. We were sat down and before even getting silverware or menus, the server rolls her eyes and let out a huge sigh that they are out of basically everything on the menu (who does that?) She didn’t even offer any drinks, but we asked if we could just have waters while we wanted to look over the menu. The server just looks at us and walks away. We decided to walk out after feeling like we weren’t welcome and just got some pizza down the road (we were literally the only customers in there). I personally have never felt more unwelcome or uncomfortable as I did there. The owners and staff obviously need to find another buisness to get into because everyone there seemed pretty soul draining. If you work hard for your money and want to spend it somewhere worth while… look anywhere other than this place. And no, we were never brought even a water lol.

It’s okay. The servers are friendly, but the food is hit and miss. It seems to draw locals to it. It’s not extremely special. Good desserts, though. Half the place has really good views of the mountains or Beech Mt. Ski slopes.

She treated us very rudely and was incredibly ill-mannered.
