We love so much about Alpaca food but we have always been disappointed in the portions of sides provided. Especially, when it comes to rice but today’s provision of rice is criminal!
We ordered the family combo with a whole chicken that is SUPPOSED to feed four people but apparently it is not meant to satisfy any!

Alpaca’s is consistently delicious and fresh no matter the location and it is always a great value. I love the food and I also really enjoy the specialty drinks.
The Peruvian seasoning is top tier and the rice and beans have so much flavor. The rice is honestly good enough to eat on its own. The maduros are always cooked perfectly. I used my offline to try the chaufa and it is addictive.

The last Friday 6 We ordered two meals, and one of them did not include the side of black beans. This was very disappointing because I was coming from work and ended up still hungry. A family member brought selections of food a few weeks ago – roasted cut up chicken – veggie soup & string beans. I was so impressed that I sought out this particular location while in the area. It’s is the old southsquare mall area off N 15 501 business – a turn at the the John Deere and on the right there’s the Alpaca sign – this location is right by the chuckle cheese building. It’s a delightful location with outdoor seating – lights strung above. Inside there was an incredible positive vibe when entering. It was very busy but the team was very kind and helpful. There’s a stuffed Alpaca right at the door. Even though the order was placed for curbside- I had to use my payment method their way as not accustomed to the ordering system but the young lady so kindly brought the food to the curbside where the hubby & I were parked. I ordered the chicken veggie soup- a real soup with what looked like hand chopped potatoes & veggies – rice & a whole roasted chicken cut up in 8th’s as requested plus tea and a coke. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal & very generous servings for another meal.

Wishing I could rate them HIGHER for their EXCELLENT service! I had accidentally ordered at another location and Manuel was able to rectify this issue for me while I was on a lunch break. It just goes to show you that there’s great people out there and everyone at work asked about the great smelling/tasting food so I was able to recommended them!

This location is the absolute WORST Alpaca location, by far. Every time I order, whether in person or ahead of time, my order is wrong and my food is cold. Not just room temperature, which would be pleasant comparatively, but cold. I have also gotten shorted on my sides every time (I paid .50 extra for a side of yuca fries to only get 3 when a typical small order is 5 at every other location). After today’s experience of yet another wrong order and cold meal, I will be taking my business elsewhere, and would recommend anyone looking to actually enjoy their meal for the value do the same.

Ordered the rice dish with chicken. You needed a magnifying glass to find the chicken. There were a few little cubes of chicken. The rice was very dry. It came with a salad that was mostly cucumbers and salad could have fit in a coffee cup. Very small. I had a drink and the total bill was $19+ dollars. I previously ordered the chicken and the portion was also small, but costly. I waited over 5 minutes before rice dish was ready.
