Welcome to Aloharepa, Aloha, we are a small local Venezuelan business in Maui. Come try the best Venezuelan food in Maui. Arepas are a white corn masa patty, 100% Gluten Free!!They are stuffed with different proteins and vegetables. You can find Aloharepa, every Saturday at the Kulamalu Upcountry Farmer’s Market from 7:00 am – 11:00 am and Every first Friday of the Month at the Festivals of Aloha, Wailuku First Friday from 5:30pm – 9:00pm. Aloha and Mahalos!

I have meant to review this place for months. Such an unreal food experience, warrants the trip to the market alone. If you haven’t ever tried this cuisine before it will change your life. Almost like a sope, but cooked slow on the griddle with incredible textures coming together with one of a kind salsa. I tried Aloharepa for the first time at the Made in Maui Festival and was blown away! I ordered the Catira (shredded chicken and cheese arepa), and it was absolutely delicious — crispy on the outside, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor. It was my first time trying Venezuelan food, and I’m officially hooked! The team was so friendly and welcoming, and everything tasted fresh and made with love. Aloharepa was one of the highlights of the festival — I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for them around Maui!
