Hearty portions. Beef stew was quite dry and even after asking for extra stew for the rice, the overall experience was quite dry. A lot of rice though so that’s nice. There’s also no tips which was nice, came out to like 22 after everything. Mac was nothing special but nice they provide it

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. It’s a great place to enjoy a home style meal. Located in the California Hotel and right across the sky bridge from its sister property the Main Street Station Hotel, Aloha Specialties serves delicious Hawaiian cuisine. I stayed here for EDC and this is a great place to fuel up before the festival. All the food here is very delicious and most importantly filling. It’s more than enough to get you through an entire night of partying under the electric sky. This is a quick service restaurant so you order at the counter and pick a table and they bring out your food. The service is very friendly and quick. They also have a soda machine with unlimited refills which as a thirsty MFer I love. It’s a small restaurant but they have enough seating and there’s some tables outside. I highly recommend dining here.

Came in on. a Saturday morning and ordered 2 teriyaki chicken bowls. Very dry chicken and hardly any sauce. Tasted like it was yesterday’s left overs reheated. I called the restaurant and was told no manager on until Monday, so I should callback and ask for Carmen. Called on Monday several times, no joy. Left my number on one occasion for the manager to call me, guess what- no call. Every time I call, even going through the casino and transferred, no one answers.
I used to come to this place a lot, sadly now this too has changed. I wanted to give the restaurant a chance to hear me out, but have no choice but to leave a bad review.
Shame really, but I won’t be back.

So first off to get to this restaurant you haft to go into the casino on the corner, not the circa but the California one and hit the escalator and it’s gonna be on the second floor by an ice cream shop called Vegas 808 and you’ll see it right across from that spot
It was a bit busy like how most good places are and service was excellent and they have a small patio and a good amount of chairs and seats and the food was amazing! Some of the best Hawaiian food I’ve ever tried so I will definitely be returning back when I’m in Vegas

I wish Hawaiian restaurants were more popular where Im from… This was definitely the best Hawaiian food I’ve had since visiting there in 2021. The kalua pork: absolutely delicious, the loco moco; nostalgic, and the Kfc: exactly as I like it 🙂 very affordable for Vegas, too. I strongly recommend a visit!

I’ve eaten at Aloha Specialties numerous times over the past decades. I’ve always had a decent experience with adequate food. But as a former restaurant owner (on Maui), serving similar food, I feel this restaurant has succumbed to serving mediocre food to survive. My teri beef and chicken plate consisted of dry beef and chicken scraps covered with sauce. The spam musubi included chewy soggy seaweed with micro thin spam. In the name of profits or survival, they’ve resorted to serving rice and teriyaki sauce, with a sprinkling of protein. At least the service was good and the tables/chairs were clean. The cafe downstairs with the oxtail soup is a much better meal, but only available after 11pm.

I entered irritated cause they opened the door 2 minutes after 9am— you could say I was hangry— but totally forgot about it when I got my breakfast plates haha. I loved the simple spam musubi and Mac and of course loved the Portuguese sausage platters.
The staff don’t seem to have the aloha spirit.. but maybe cause it’s 9am in the morning and didn’t have their coffee yet.. or cause they moved from Hawaii long time. I noticed a lot who’s lived here adapt the stand off ish attitude which is understandable to survive here. The customers who’s visiting from Hawaii definitely have more of the aloha spirit and make up the vibe of this place.
