Open-air patio is a relaxed, beachside setting for traditional Hawaiian platters in jumbo portions.

We stopped by Aloha Mixed Plate to kill some time before our whale watching tour, and it ended up being one of the best decisions of the day.
The setting is absolutely beautiful — right on the water with that perfect laid-back Maui vibe. Service was quick and genuinely friendly, and the food came out fast and fresh.
I had the crispy garlic shrimp, which was perfectly cooked with great texture and tons of flavor. My wife ordered the spam noodles and loved them — savory, comforting, and packed with local flavor.
Definitely try this place. It’s a fantastic spot to relax before an activity, and it feels good supporting the Lahaina community while enjoying an amazing meal.

Excellent meal, went for lunch basically 1st people there to ensure we got a table after reading the reviews. Orderd the Korean fried chicken for starter. Very well done. I ordered the aloha mixed plates, subbed white rice for fried rice and oh my gosh, unbelievably done, everything else on the plate was very good too.But that fried rice was a showstopper. My husband got the short rib plate, as well as the Fried Rice. We both bought the meals were excellent. We left very full and he actually had leftover short ribs which never happens. When in maui, I will definitely go back.

First time visiting Hawaii — and Maui — with family. We stopped by Aloha Mixed Plate for dinner to try some classic local plates.
For starters, we ordered the coconut shrimp, served with a sweet-and-spicy pineapple chutney. Solid appetizer and nicely fried.
For entrées, we shared a mix of plates:
• Kalua pig plate with poi, lomi lomi salmon, rice, and mac salad
• Grilled mahi mahi topped with pineapple salsa
• A teriyaki-style beef plate, also served with rice and mac salad
My plate was the kalua pig, which was tender and flavorful, especially paired with the poi. The grilled fish was cooked well and fresh, though fairly mild on its own. Overall, portions were generous and the plates were filling.
We also ordered pineapple juice with free refills, but it tasted noticeably watered down, which was disappointing.
Overall, a solid introduction to local-style Hawaiian food. Not a must-visit, but a reasonable stop if you’re in the area.

Happy Hour 2:30-4:30 – Panko Fried Spam Musubi was AWESOME! Such a chill place… We had Aloha Mixed Plate, 2 Spam Musubi & Fish Tacos and we were stuffed! (3 adults).
Mai Tai was on point and the Blue Hawaii had some SLAP too!!
Rachael was attentive but didn’t hover.
Will definitely be back!!

Just got back home after 5 days in Maui. Checked this place out for lunch after it was recommended to us. Scenery is perfect as it sits right off the water. Has a nice covered patio so it provided nice shade while eating. I’m super picky and particular about what I eat and rarely try anything new. I really wanted teriyaki chicken but they only had teriyaki beef. The closest they had was Shoyu chicken. Or I could try the mochiko chicken but that was more like fried chicken. The server was so nice and brought me out a small piece of the shoyu chicken to try before ordering (I didn’t ask, she just did). It was very good actually. The plate has 2 chicken thighs, a side of mac salad and rice. It was a large portion. The others in my group had Teriyaki Beef and the Aloha Mixed Plate. All plates were nice large portions and everything was cooked up fresh and delicious. Would absolutely return here for Hawaiian food when back on the island. Definitely recommend.

Excellent local food served in a beautiful setting with a friendly and attentive staff.
Patio seating at comfortable tables that are comfortable spaced from each other. The atmosphere is very inviting. The view is excellent.
A small bar is well stocked and provides counter service.
The adjacent parking is adequate. However, it can get very crowded during the busier times of the day and parking can be limited. Street parking is available but it can also be limited.

My recent dinner at Aloha Mixed Plate was absolutely outstanding. From start to finish, everything delivered — and the highlight has to be the swordfish special. It was cooked to perfection and quite literally melted in my mouth. I’ve had many fish dishes, but this one stood out.
My wife ordered the Ali‘i plate and raved about the lū lū — rich, savory, and perfectly seasoned. Meanwhile, my buddy went with the mixed plate and demolished it before I could even ask how it was. The portions were generous, the flavors bold yet balanced, and the overall vibe of the place was relaxed and authentically Hawaiian.
Service was friendly and efficient, and the setting on Front Street adds that breezy island charm without sacrificing comfort. If you find the swordfish special on the menu, do yourself a favor and go for it — you won’t regret it.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lahaina who wants a meal that feels both local and top-tier. Five stars without hesitation.

We were looking for an evening dinner that wasn’t over the top expensive like many places here. We were glad to find Aloha Mixed Plate, serving good drinks and a delicious menu of quality foods. Started with chicken wings and coconut shrimp. The coconut shrimp were really good as were the wings. Enjoyed local mahi mahi fish sandwich, island burger and pulled pork sandwich and the Aloha mixed plate. All were large portions and tasted fresh, very good on all dishes. Service was friendly and attentive. Dining room overlooks the beach, beautiful at sunset. Overall good food, not fancy with good drinks and friendly service.

The food and atmosphere are incredible. Service was good except we asked for waters and they did not come. My wife finished her wine and he came back to see if she wanted another, she did but said not as we were also asking for the waters. He seemed a little upset that we were not ordering more wine. When the waters did eventually arrive we then ordered drink refills. I suspect this was simply a one off on the service and we will definitely be back in the future.

This was a total highlight meal for us. We ordered the Aloha Mixed Plate and specifically the shoyu chicken stood out in a big way, plus the sides just felt like the exact “local plate lunch” experience we hoped to get on Maui. Add ocean views and that open-air setting and it’s hard to beat. We featured it in our YouTube video, search for “Replicate the Magic” on YouTube to find it.
