If you haven’t been to Aloha Jay’s yet, stop what you’re doing and go. Their malasadas are always incredible, but the breakfast sandwich is a game-changer for the area. The airy texture of the malasada ‘bun’ is light as a cloud and tastes amazing. It’s the ultimate local breakfast treat—definitely worth the trip!

The BEST donuts I have ever had! OMG – fresh and delicious. The donut itself is perfectly made and so good all by itself, and then the fillings are wonderful.
I had a coconut cream, and the filling was smooth and creamy with bits of coconut – ambrosia! And the chocolate dobash was even better.
And the service was the best! The owner was behind the counter, and his mom was visiting, and they were so friendly!
All together a perfect experience! I don’t know why there isn’t a line out the door! I don’t think I’ll ever be able to eat another mass-produced, tasteless donut after having these.

Delicious malasadas and excellent 100% Kona coffee! We tried a variety of flavors – snowcap, raspberry cheesecake, cinnamon sugar, chocolate Bavarian and powdered sugar and enjoyed all of them. The snowcap was actually our favorite so we’re glad a regular customer recommended it. Very friendly and prompt service. Appreciated that the malasadas were warm and fresh. We will definitely be back!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The malasadas were so fluffy and delicious and my daughter loooooved the mini bites with dippers! Also the coffee was amazing too! 10/10 on everything. Definitely worth the 45 minute drive!

A must try!! These are. Y far the best treats we’ve had in a while. They are airy, warm, soft, and with just enough sweetness to make you want to try all of their varieties. We had the ube filled one, and well as sugar, cinnamon sugar, and chocolate covered. The service was fantastic. The place is spotless. Their drinks are equally delicious with an extravaganza of flavors to pick for your coffee. You will not regret stopping by.

Just got back from my Hawaii vacation and didn’t get a chance to try these malasadas over there on the island but if these are anything like the island … they taste amazing ! Had the one patty burger(no picture) it was so delicious I could wait ! We ordered topped and filled malasadas. Great friendly service.

We took a day trip to drive here to experience these incredible donuts & Kona coffee. This staff was fantastic and a customer who walked in added to awesomeness that surrounds this place. We ordered a few donuts and were blown away by the flavor. The dough was light and delicious and absolutely incredible. The coffee was excellent. We can’t wait to take this trip again.

As soon as you enter Aloha Jays, you’re greeted by the friendly smile of Mama Jean, and you know you’re in for a treat! She is so welcoming and attentive, as are all of the friendly faces who work there! I ordered the cinnamon sugar and raspberry cheesecake Malasadas, while my friend ordered the breakfast sandwich. Everything was fresh, delicious, and filling! With so many flavors to choose from, we will definitely be back to try even more.

Their breakfast sandwich, Malasadas, and coffee were the bomb! I got the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich and it was perfection. Malasadas were freshly fried. We got the apple, Bavarian cream, Boston cream and pumpkin spice one. Ran into Jay’s mom while waiting for our food and she is just the sweetest. We’re visiting family here for the holidays but will be visiting again next year!

Never had a Malasada donut before, but I can genuinely say that this is one of my favorite shops! The donuts are delicious and unique compared to other donut shops around. The breakfast sandwiches in my opinion are TO DIE FOR. The Malasada dough used as the bread for the sandwich just makes it subtly crispy and light rather than feeling like you’re eating just a plain old bun, muffin, or biscuit every breakfast place uses. If you haven’t tried Aloha Jay’s you really should.
