As im finding it harder and harder to find anything appetizing, i stumble on this place stuck right on monroe before (MD). DONT BLINK or youll missit. I haven’t had a pea salad so good im done looking. Large triakl plate stuffed me and had hors d’oeuerves for dinner. Did i mention the pea salad?

My husband summed it up in one sentence “if it was cheaper it would be worth it”. The food itself wasn’t bad at all, just very small portions for the cost. Two tiny “bowls” and two drinks was $30. The inside area where all the cooking happens is grossly unclean. There are two tables inside where you can sit that seats two people per table and the only dine-in option you have is outdoor seating otherwise.

SO WORTH IT and a must-try in Spokane! Pictured is the teriyaki chicken small plate with macaroni salad and sticky rice, I would recommend this order to anyone. Great portion sizes for what you pay and super quick service.

Just moved to the area and wanted to try this place out as this is the type of food my culture is from, which I don’t mind paying good $ for. I ordered online and opted for in store pick up. My son picked up the food and came out. I opened the “bowl” that I got for myself, thinking the vegetable stir fry would be separate from the meat. Nope! That’s what you get for $12!!!! I went in to confirm and was met with rudeness and a response of, “your order was prepared correctly.” I voiced it was my first time there and then proceeded to ask for a fork. The staff member laid it directly on the counter instead of handing it to me. Asked for another one…of course with more attitude. I don’t read reviews before I try out new places because I like to form my own opinion…but much of the recent reviews say the same things that I experienced…overpriced food met with rude customer service. The kitchen not being the cleanest is a whole other issue! If you can find island food anywhere else in Spokane, I would suggest avoiding this place and the staff! See the pic that is the same as ice cream shops use for their bowls. Definitely not worth $12! Especially after paying $50+ for two big plates.

Never in my life have I ever ordered food from here and it look or taste like this , every piece of meat was completely burnt and tasted DISGUSTING The rice wasn’t coooked correctly At all and it’s just they teriyaki sauce was watered down , hands down this was just disgusting , the boys need to go back to cooking period . Don’t hire people who can’t or don’t know how to cook, it makes your business loook bad especially to the people who have been going there for years

The food was really great and the staff were super freindly! They helped us order and were very patient even when we changed our order a couple of times! The food was even done before the time they said it would be so that was super great! And they gave us extra napkins, silverware and tons of extra sauce!

Wish we had a Hawaiian place in the TC so anytime I can get to a place like this I am excited. The workers were super kind, and the Kahlua pork was all I hoped it would be (huge servings too). Also everyone always says maca salad for Hawaiian places, but this place’s pea salad is delightful. Will definitely go again when in Spokane.

I come here as often as I can and it never disappoints. Very hole in the wall type place but you won’t regret trying it, plus customer service is always the best. This time I got the garlic chicken and mac salad, mac is A MUST. The serving sizes always leave leftovers for the next day and the girl that is usually there when I go in always keeps up good conversation while we wait.

Check your food before you leave. I ordered a full teriyaki chicken plate and when I got home all I had was rice. They forgot to put the teriyaki chicken in the container. My wife ordered a full teriyaki beef plate and half the beef was so burnt it wasn’t edible, and they weren’t even busy so it’s not like they were rushing to get the orders out. We had called ahead and they had 20 minutes before we arrived.
