This place really took a nose dive. I remember coming hear a year or so ago and everything was amazing. Now it sucks.
Ordered the chicken katsu plate around $13. Chicken katsu was this weird pale color and was soggy yet stale hard??? A lot of the pieces had all the fried bits either coming off or just wet.
To top it all off the worker only gave me one partially filled katsu sauce.
Sad to see this place not be what it used to. Never coming back.

Was in the area for business nearby. I wanted to try this restaurant so I got their Hawaiian BBQ mix- BBQ chicken, beef, and short ribs and mix tempura- 3 shrimp and veggies. The meats were seasoned well. I asked for the meats to be cooked well done, I saw some char on the chicken but not up to my preference. The combo plate came with fluffy white rice, macaroni salad, and steamed veggies under the bbq meats. The tempura had a heavy batter which was not to my liking. Alisa at the cashier counter was nice and quick to take my order which was ready in 15 minutes. There are tables and chairs for casual dine-in, I opted take-out. Parking is shared in this shopping center with many businesses, including a grocery store.

I visited Aloha Hawaiian BBQ & Sushi in Baldwin Park expecting a pleasant meal, but unfortunately the service fell far below expectations. While some customers enjoy the Hawaiian-style BBQ and sushi offerings here, what stood out most to me was the very slow service and the rude attitude from the girl at the front desk.

Pretty tasty but they upped their prices and gave me less rice on a few occasions on a bowl. The fish portions are also smaller than what they used to be. The price is not worth it for the amount of fish or even the portion in the bowl.
I got a creamy salmon bowl and usually they put rice just below or up to the line. Immediately when I opened it up, it seemed like the dish was half full and the dishes portions are shrinking. There’s just so much food missing.

You have Loco moco Pic but do not serve. Food is just ok. Tables sticky and dirty. Sushi is eh..not bad but not worth price. Fix ya door.

That’s a pretty good price. It’s delicious! My mom and I first tried it. The food is large and the quality of the ribs is very good. I will definitely try the chicken steak here again. I like salads and dressings.

This review is temporary…This was my 1st time here. I’ve tried many Hawaiian BBQ spots and I always get the same dish Seafood Mix with all rice. The plate looked amazing. The price was about the same as every other Hawaiian BBQ, but the quality and taste wasn’t worth the price of other places like ONO Hawaiian, L&L Hawaiian or even other Mom & Pop locations I’ve tried before. The issue I had was with the Mahi Mahi fish, it was really dry and hard as if it was over cooked or was cooked day before and used for my meal the next day. I went within 1st 30 mins of opening. Also I couldn’t make it taste better with some Teriyaki Sauce because the sauce was really watered down almost like soy sauce consistently. That’s when I got . If you gone water your sauce down, how about you reflect that in your price and water it down as well. I’m gonna give them another chance in about a month. I’m hoping owner reads reviews and makes adjustments so that I can give better review or worst review when I give my update later.

The Hawaiian BBQ here is pretty tasty, but compatible to most other Hawaiian BBQ. They accept Mobile Payment here, big plus.
What sets this apart is their Sushi Menu. I have yet to try their sushi, but the menu looks impressive. Will update this review if I get around to trying the sushi.
