Wow! First time trying Hawaiian food. It was delicious! And the priced are so affordable! You get so much food that you can eat two meals out of it for less than $15. There were lots of people ordering online and coming for pickup. We will definitely come back and maybe try their dessert!

Aloha Hawaiian BBQ is a decent stop for some good food. I went with my family and there were good things, and bad things.
FOOD:
The BBQ mix plate was very reminiscent of L&L back when it was still good. All 3 meats were good, the mac salad was good and rice was, rice. The veggies were not necessary, bland and not steamed enough. My wife got one of the ramen bowls and she enjoyed it. However, the issue was the Katsu which is one of my favorite items. The breading was so incredibly hard. It was like concrete and could not be cut through with the plastic knives they provide. When I tried to cut through it, the breading broke into huge slabs like stucco and completely separated from the chicken.
SERVICE:
The Service was fine. I did not have any issues and everyone was busy working. The girl who took our order was able to answer a few questions that I had.
ATMOSPHERE:
The Atmosphere was fine and the place was relatively clean inside. There was plenty of seating. However, there was one BIG issue. I went into the men’s room to wash my hands and it smelled like straight up “Raw Sewage”. There was an absolutely horrendous smell of sewage coming from the drain on the floor. It was literally one of the worst smelling things ever in my life. It took probably 5 minutes for to forget the smell from my nose.
Overall, would I come here again? Probably not. My kids love Katsu and theirs was not good. Combined with the sewage smell, I an not sure if I could recommend them.

The absolute BEST Hawaiian food in town! My order was prepared fresh and extremely fast. The restaurant was clean and staff were friendly. For 13$ I had a massive lunch which was spectacular quality. We can’t wait to go back!

Been ordering from here for the past year. Its a hit or miss at times. Ordered the chicken katsu and bbq beef. Both meats were dry. The flavor of the Mac salad was bland. Not many choices for Hawaiian here in the springs but still prefer it over L&L

You place orders at and pick them up from the counter. It wasn’t busy at all when we arrived, with only one person waiting for their order. Staff was friendly and the food was about what you would expect from Hawaiian BBQ. The pieces are larger than other places, which can make it a bit challenging to eat, but there are knives available, and that doesn’t detract from the taste. The portion sizes were large enough for leftovers.

Was looking forward to this place, but I got side order of pinworms with my BBQ chicken plate. Two scoops rice, Mac salad no noodles…thats not noodles in the Pic. This was 2:15 pm, tues Jan 6 2026..this is how you treat Locals and haoles eh? Was wondering why the guy no look, and was very quiet.. not the Hawaiian way to serve food… Wow…thanks eh

My experience was a mix of highs and lows. I really wanted to love this place, and in many aspects, it does deliver.
To start with the positives, the food portions are quite generous. For the price you pay, you definitely get a good amount of food. The BBQ flavors are robust though I found them to lean a bit on the salty side. If you prefer your BBQ with a strong, salty kick, you might find it just right. However, for those with a palate that favors more balanced flavors, it might be a bit overwhelming.
The dining room could use a little cleaning. It wasn’t filthy by any means, but a bit more attention to cleanliness would enhance the overall dining experience.

The food here was really good and reminded me a lot of the food I’ve eaten in Oahu. The macaroni salad was so delicous and had this really good flavor that hits your guts really nice. The staff was very friendly and really enjoyed my time eating here. Busy place at times the kalbi was great too.

Decided to give this place a try since I’m new to the area and it was amazing. Food is at an amazing price point, which is impressive with how much food you get and with how delicious it is. Service was very good, it has that small business atmosphere and you feel like you’re at home. Loved the food so much I came back the next day and got it again. Highly recommend being a regular here, especially if you frequent UCCS, as you can try something new each time and everything will be good. Highly recommend!!
