I haven’t been here in a minute. What I’ve immediately noticed is that the amount of food they give you has gotten considerably smaller. I mean, I used to only finish half my food. So a plate would last me 2 days. Now, I could almost finish an entire plate. This is shrinkflation, where the cost went up, but the portion goes down.
However to be fair, shrinkflation is happening everywhere. The food is still good. The chicken does seem different than what I remember. But the price is decent for today’s standard. It’s just no longer one of those hidden gems anymore in terms of value.

WOW!!! This place is a GEM!! Staff was super nice. Food was excellent and wow the plates are huge. We’re from Vegas so it’s normally hard to beat. But damn stop by here if you’re hungry and looking for good food.

Really good portion size for the price ! You get your money’s worth however I do agree the rice is just plain white rice but with the many flavors from the meats it’s still good. Would recommend to stop by! The cashier with glasses was very sweet and welcoming!

I wanted a short ribs plate but they only had a chicken, beef & short ribs plate which was actually really delicious! I never had their spicy pineapple sauce but I tried it for the first time & it was awesome! I got both the Teriyaki and the spicy pineapple sauce but I bearly touch the teriyaki sauce. Definitely need to go back for more!

To be honest, we tried food much better before. The food here is only served in to-go containers, which is quite inconvenient for dining in. Teriyaki chicken was pretty good, but everything else was mediocre, especially the tasteless rice.

As I entered looking at the menu thinking of what to order, all I saw was how costly everything was compared to other hawaiian bbq places I’ve been to. My lunch break was short. No time to think of another place so just ordered the chicken bbq plate and my goodness did i feel like it was a buffet!!
Most places especially during Covid has cut down on portions etc which i don’t blame but this place didn’t let that change the way they make their customers bellys & their pockets happy!! I was surprised of rhe portion and I was a super duper happy girl!
Now, the next thing to ponder….was it good then? More surprised to also add that it sure was. Not too salty compared to another I have been to. In fact, very similar to my favorite Ono Hawaiian that i usually go to but a much larger portion! Tried my coworkers beef one and that was good too but i think their chicken is better.
Macaroni salad, rice and cabbage is generic which I don’t care much for and teriyaki sauce was also good and not too salty compared to other places.
This is going to be one of my favorite stops especially when im starving!! Thanks guys!!

This is huge!! Very serious portions..Two times i was unable to finish their platter ..Very good food and chill atmosphere..Don’t expect fine dining, but it’s a great value for the money .

Tasty food + huge portion sizes! Got a combination chicken katsu and chicken bbq plate to share with my fiancée, and it was huge. We had enough leftovers to be 1 person’s meal for me (leftovers ended up taking her 2 meals to finish). Also got the spam musubi which were exactly what I wanted and 2 for ~4.50 so solid deal. Fast casual vibe. They were playing The Flash TV series so we enjoyed it while we ate too . Def would recommend
