I’ve gone here multiple times now and they do not disappoint! I’ve had the Teri Chicken, the Kalua Pork, the Chicken Katus, and the Mitsubi. All of it was fabulous! Tender, marinated meats made with love. The Mac salad and rice are also perfectly cooked. Even better that this is a family owned local business. I’ll definitely be back

Restaurant used to be great! Now it’s sad. Fountain drink doesn’t work, a bathroom is broken, and at 11:30 am I was the only person there. Tipped 30% to order at the counter but when the food was ready the server insisted that I pick it up from the counter in a to-go container. Spending $19 for two proteins with Mac salad and also buying an overly saturated rice Spam masubi for $5 is not worth it.
Locally, Mashita Teriyaki is a much better value with staff that will serve your table for $12 which includes a soda and they have working facilities. I’m also comparing my review to Bamboo Grove in John’s Landing that for the same price have staff that actually attends to you as well as had food that tastes better than reheated Sysco.

I came here for lunch after working in Tualatin and this place was what I was craving – I thought. Traditional Hawaiian food?! Yes please! However. The guy got my order wrong, handed me the wrong sauce (it was supposed to be teriyaki but was very spicy and ruined my food after I unknowingly dousing my food in it. I don’t recommend this place for a multitude of reasons. Mostly being the front desk guy wasn’t very friendly, the chicken was very fatty and I had to pick through it before eating. Cute little place but terrible receptionist. Only thing I could eat was my rice – which is disappointing considering how MUCH food they gave me. Anyways, just leaving my honest review. Hoping next time is a better experience.

I ordered garlic chicken through DoorDash and when I received it, there was teriyaki sauce all over and all over in the bag and they forgot my spam musubi, which was on the receipt. So I called them and I went down there and they remade the garlic chicken for me, which was very very nice of them and they gave me my spam musubi. My husband and I used to go there all the time when Dave owned it and it was so good, And Dave is no longer there, but I will probably not go back to Aloha Grill. But the ladies working in there were very nice. Hopefully it will improve.

I ordered here once and loved it but the food I got through grubhub today absolutely disgusted me and turned me away forever.
I love a good runny egg, however I do not enjoy having to scoop out white slime from an undercooked egg to recook it to be food safe at home. Even after that I felt completely unsafe and disgusted and just ended up throwing away two meals that couldve been great if there was more care put into the preparation. Im so upset because I love this place but after that theres no way I can ever order from or go here again. Completely unacceptable to have white goop all over my food. Again I love runny eggs but these were NOT COOKED AT ALL CORRECTLY. If I get sick I know why!

Was hoping the food got better since there’s a new coat of paint on everything here.
This is a fine place to stop if you need a quick bite. I’ve been coming since 2016.
I will say the staff is very kind. I have a lot of respect for the workers here.
However, I did not enjoy eating here. Got garlic chicken and it had a noticeable lack of garlic flavor, either the sauce has changed or mine just didn’t get as much of the sauce, but it was pretty bland. I also had to pick out a bone shard from the meat which was pretty large and unpleasant.
I’ve seen this place change ownership a few times and I can accept recipe changes but I am also sorely disappointed at the removal of Poi and Haupia from the menu- it was one of the only features on the menu which distinguished it from other Hawaiian places in the area. I know not many places are actually Hawaiian owned in Oregon so I can’t expect authenticity, but seeing some of the few Hawaiian menu items get removed makes me sad.

Had the chicken teriyaki delivered via doordash, and when I got it it had just a few drops of teriyaki sauce on the rice, and they didn’t send even one side of extra teriyaki sauce just on the off-chance that people might actually want to have a little bit of sauce on the rice and chicken. Would highly recommend to make sure you tell them to send some teriyaki sauce when it seems they only use a small eye dropper to put a few drops on there, when you’re already these days spending over $20 for rice and chicken. Very disappointing. It’s not the driver’s fault. They the restaurant should assume that people might acrually want more than a few drops of teriyaki sauce on the rice since its teriyaki chicken. Yikes….

Hands down the best Hawaiian food in Oregon!! I’ve been all over and nowhere compares to this location!! Everything is super authentic and the staff is super friendly with great food suggestions!! The price is on average around $12-15 but the portion size makes it a steal!! I guarantee that you won’t leave this place hungry!! This place is a must try!

I’ve been going somewhat regularly and the food is always good. Macaroni salad, steamed rice and we had had the Kalua Pork which is wonderfully seasoned and the chicken teriyaki. We always enjoy it and it is a good portion of protein.
