I went for my 39th birthday (8/18) and the young lady I can’t remember her name it starts with a “J” young African American girl, she made the best mixed shots for me it was great! The drink Fun On The Beach; chef’s kiss

I love going to Aloha, this place may have a cover charge and have a gratuity charge but it is expected this day an age. People who complain about thing like this shouldn’t go out. If you haven’t noticed the entire economy has increased and prices continue to increase. I enjoy going to a place that is safe and fun. The music and girls, never disappoints and the food is great. We love it here and will continue to support this local tiki. Bar.

Beautiful place, but unfortunately just left from a bad experience. We came at 8 pm on a dead weeknight for some food with a group of 5 friends. All of us (except one) are in our 30s, completely sober, looking for a quiet place to discuss upcoming wedding plans. Our one friend is 24 (a few months shy of 25) and we were all kicked out because apparently you have to be 25 to eat here. I’ve never heard of a bar making up this policy, but no problem – we happily obliged. The actual problem was the awful way the two bartenders treated us over it. Extremely rude, and obviously inciting an argument with our calm, collected group. There is no signage here indicating the age policy, and there is also no signage anywhere that they charge above 20% gratuity on every single check. It’s a completely discrete mandatory gratuity, which we realized last time we went when our chicken fingers and cheesesteak and sprite was almost 50 dollars. It’s one thing to have a strange age policy on a weeknight evening, another thing to explain it in a degrading, disrespectful manner.

I am leaving this review on behalf of my two friends. They were denied access to the bar because they were not over the age of 25. I have never heard of this rule and am honestly appalled by it. Beware, if you aren’t TWENTY-FIVE years old, you aren’t allowed in.

They need better DJs. Went there on Friday for “hip hop night” and they played Spanish music the whole entire time. Owners cater to their family too much so I’m sure they could care less. Parking is terrible and should have been expanded by now. Other than that, great atmosphere! Nice local place to hang out at. Drinks are good too.

After reading the many reviews of this place after my visit, doesn’t even surprise me they have 3 stars on Google and 2 on Yelp. Came here to drink and as soon as arrived we made a comment on how empty it was for being the only Tiki Bar in the area. Whatever, don’t care. We sit at the bar for probably 15 minutes before any of the bartenders even acknowledge us. Once she does, she lets us know it’s 25+ only? what bar is 25 and up? Last time I checked, legal drinking age was 21, not 25. So yes, let us sit here for 15 minutes and then let us know we can’t be served here. Then to top it off the bartender is snarky and tells us to come back when we’re 25. Yeaaaaah this place won’t be open by the time I’m 25. Place was empty, unlike every other local bar, and now we know why.

I was deeply disappointed by my experience at this small bar nestled within swampland. Not only did they single out two of my relatives based on their age, asking them to leave for no other valid reason, but also the entire incident left us feeling humiliated. It’s disheartening to witness such behavior in this day and age. Furthermore, seeing that the establishment claims to be fans of the Wu-Tang Clan, a hip-hop group known for their jovial camaraderie and high moral standards, only adds to the irony and disappointment.

Bad experience from the start! Let’s start with being charged a cover fee with no advertisement of it on website/onsite; waiting for a server for about 25 minutes to just going to bar to order/get overpriced drinks and then being charged 20% gratuity. Atmosphere was not relaxing and not enjoyable for the 55 minutes there to finally leaving to a more enjoyable place.

WARNING !!! This place charges 20% gratitude if you start a tab!! This place is in desperate need of some professional help!! Dead atmosphere slow to no service, it’s a help yourself and order at the bar place. All the food comes in styrofoam containers. Dont think I’ll be coming back

Make sure you notice that the 20% gratuity is added automatically on the check when you receive your bill because the bartender does not let you know and you could be tipping in upwards of 40% if you don’t scrutinize your bill thoroughly. Otherwise a nice place to eat and in a great location away from it all.
