It’s also a great place to slow down and enjoy your morning, or even co-work in their enclosed patio, which has a really inviting vibe. I also love that they’re supportive of other local businesses, which makes the space feel even more community-oriented.
So glad to see this place thriving. East Boston is lucky to have it!
⭐️Overall: 9.2/10⭐️
Aloe Natural Açaí & Coffee Shop stands out as one of Boston’s best-kept secrets. The café offers a welcoming atmosphere with a shaded outdoor patio and a stylish, comfortable indoor seating area. The menu is both diverse and reasonably priced, featuring a wide selection of fresh, flavorful food and beverages. For those with a sweet tooth, there are also plenty of satisfying snack options. Overall, Aloe Natural delivers a consistently high-quality experience—earning a strong 9.2 out of 10. It’s truly hard to beat.
Puerto Rican flavors with a city twist-whether you’re on the go or sitting down, Aloe is a must-try!
Aloe’s Tropical Breakfast – eggs, sweet plantains, shrimp + French toast topped with kiwi & strawberry (a full vibe on a plate).
El Jibarito Wrap – chicken, plantains, cheese, pesto,
avocado & more (a flavor bomb).
Playita Shrimp Wrap – fresh, tropical, irresistible.
Cookies & Cream Craze Coffee (hot or iced) – dessert in
a cup.
Turkey Bacon Egg & Cheese Croissant – served with
grapes for that sweet balance.
And don’t skip the Passion Fruit Juice-tropical refresh in
every sip!
Trust-this Chelsea spot is serving flavor that slaps.
Came here for an early breakfast on a Saturday morning. The cafe was tucked away in an isolated complex by the pier. When I first drove in, I honestly thought I was pulling into an abandoned warehouse district. You have to pass a security post to get in (they don’t check anything, but it still feels odd), so it’s not the most accessible location.
Once inside, though, the space was beautifully decorated, and the covered outdoor patio had a laid-back, tropical vibe.
We ordered a coconut latte (“Coconut Obsessions”) and two açai bowls. Both bowls came with pre-frozen açai scoops that seemed to have been blended in advance. They were a bit too sweet overall, and the Nutella-topped Amorcito bowl didn’t help on that front.
Given the location’s history (most businesses here haven’t lasted more than a couple of years) I’m not sure how this one will fare. Unless I’m specifically craving a quiet patio hangout, I’m not dying to go back.
The food was otherworldly. I got the caprese avocado toast and the s’mores madness coffee. I have never seen such beautifully made fried eggs in my life, and I have a very high standard for what that means.
The s’mores coffee was truly madness, with an ungodly amount of Nutella, marshmallows and whipped cream and graham cracker crumbs and for missing its god, it was heavenly.
10/10 recommend.
