One hour drive but well worth it. Sons favorite restaurant. One of the top in the state. This Italian restaurant is just the best. Seafood, chicken, pasta, salads. They now have 2 locations in Columbia. Nice small bar area good selection of wines and favorite cocktails. Staff is very kind. Highly recommend for wonderful dinner or lunch.

Food was excellent. My girlfriend had the chicken picata and I had the pasta with steak and a mushroom demi glaze. Both were to die for. The steak melted in your mouth. The service was impeccable. Our drink glasses never got empty and our waitress, Morna, was so pleasant. As a matter of fact she was the only one wearing a mask and that was much appreciated. We will definately be back and will be asking to sit at her station. Really liked this restaurant better than the Lexington one. If there were 10 stars, you would have received 10. Excellent choice for dinner.

I want to start by saying I’m from nyc and know good food when I see it. The wife and I went last night for dinner. Let me tell you Chef Jon out did himself with the special menu he created. The flavors all came together. We tried the Duck bolognese , Tuna carpaccio, Cab steak, and the shrimp and Mahi nduja. Let me tell you I can’t even pick a favorite. We were loving them all. I’ve been there a few times and always had a good experience with there regular menu. If it’s your first time or if your a regular, go check out there special menu, you will not be disappointed. Oh and Ps , if you love Cheesecake you have to try there many assorted flavors they have weekly .

Great service paired with delicious food equals an outstanding dinner. The duck penne in gorgonzola sauce is a show stopper. Duck was perfectly cooked. I want the sauce recipe to pair with other proteins. I honestly think that sauce over a deconstructed burger would be out of this world. I digress. First our waitress, Annie, was on point and amazing. Keeping our glasses filled. Also did not push deserts, but instead asked was there anything else we wanted this evening. The food keeps the good time rolling. I had the tiramisu and my wife the white chocolate cheesecake. We were travelling to Savannah and pulled off the highway for this wonderful place. Highly reccomend you doing the same. #HeavyGapproved

This place is, hands down, one of the best restaurants I have ever been to! Everything was so good. The atmosphere was classy, while still feeling accessible. Our server, Mona, was so wonderful! She was so helpful with suggestions and informative with our questions. She was so friendly and prompt with everything we needed. I really could not sing her praises enough.
The food was almost a religious experience. I had the salmon special, and haven’t had salmon that juicy and flavorful without it being baked in parchment paper. I also ordered the Irish Creme Cheesecake for dessert, and ya’ll… my heart actually started racing! If they sold them whole, I would have bought one right then. As it was, I just got another slice to take home.
Just a warning, it is pretty pricey, because it is fine dining, but I think the food, the service, and the experience make the price tag well worth it. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I will definitely be going back!

This place is the real deal! It is truly an Italian restaurant like no other. I wish I had photos of the food, but unfortunately my friend and myself just dove into it. We tasted almost everything 2 people could eat and took home lasagna which was unreal (loved it)! I had heard that Alodia’s was in the top 10 Italian Restaurants in the country, I can see why.

My sister and I ordered the mahi-shrimp special while her boyfriend had lasagna. The mahi and shrimp were supposed to be blackened but none of it was. The taste of everything was bland not only to me. My sister and her boyfriend mentioned the same thing. This was my first and last trip there. There are a few other Italian restaurants in the area that have better food and are more affordable. The prices here are ridiculous.

Wow!! By far the best fettuccine I’ve had in SC so far! The service was amazing, everyone was super sweet, and the food was absolutely delicious. For dessert I had the crème brûlée and it was so creamy and delightful. The place is super cozy and clean 10/10 would recommend and we’ll be back real soon 🙂
