Food was 4.5 stars, service was 100/10. The service and ambience at this place was so spectacular that I felt like I was in a magical candlelit oasis being served food by a fairy who knew everything I wanted.
Our waitress Gracie was such a vibe and did an amazing job that elevated our experience to 5 stars. This was a perfect date night spot to celebrate our 4 year anniversary, and they gave us 2 rounds of champagne on the house to help us celebrate.
The food tasted amazing, was presented beautifully, and none of the dishes disappointed. Our favorite dishes were the SAUTÉED WILD ATLANTIC SALMON and the SOURDOUGH & PARSNIP BRUSCHETTA (runner up SEARED SEA SCALLOPS). All 3 of these had us looking at each other in amazement with every bite. The other dishes we had were great, but less life changing. I’d say the TOASTED RYE & BUTTERMILK CREPE is skippable.
Even the bathroom was bougie, and all of the staff impressively knew every detail about the complicated dishes being served to us.
While Dario’s doppio and mushrooms were more life changing than what we had here, Alma is overtaking it to be my new #1 favorite restaurant.

My wife and I had a fantastic time at Alma. They have a great menu that is very thoughtful and delicious. I typically do not have very high expectations of service, even at fine dining restaurants these days. However, Alma truly went above and beyond. Every member of the staff that we interacted with was kind and informative. Our waitress was excellent and very knowledgeable of the wine pairing as well as the menu. I appreciate that gratuity is included in the cost I normally am not a fan of pressure on tips. However, we were so impressed with our waitress that we added an extra line to put an additional tip. As for the food, it was all fantastic. Everything was perfectly seasoned, and the flavor combinations and textures were all spot on. I was particularly impressed with the quality and cook on the scallops as well as the salmon. The wine pairing that my wife had was fantastic. I ordered wine à la carte and was equally as impressed. Probably the best wine I’ve had on a menu and was such consistency across the different types. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Amazing experience! Much like the food I’ve enjoyed in their cafe, every course of this dinner was unique and delicious. The atmosphere is nice – tables aren’t crowded so it’s not loud. Every person working there was knowledgeable and genuinely friendly. This is a perfect spot for a treat-yo-self night out.

Very nice (and pricey) dinner with colleagues. Food was excellent, great flavors and unique combinations. Portion sizes could have been a bit bigger for the cost. Overall, a good splurge and a memorable experience.

We went to Alma to Celebrate finishing the Twin Cities Marathon. It was Grandma, Grandpa, my wife, myself and our 2.5 year old daughter. The food was extraordinary. Three course menu for the adults and they had buttered noodles for our daughter. We were worried about bringing her to such a nice restaurant, but let me tell you, the staff was EXCEPTIONAL with her!!! They had a booster seat for her, when her food was running a little behind when promised, they brought her two snacks to hold her over. On top of that they were just so nice and interactive with her as well as proving great service to the adults. Highly recommend!!! We had a great experience!!!

First timer. The food was good. Service was good, HOWEVER, she wasn’t consistent with pouring the wine. I kept getting more than my husband so that’s why that is a 3 instead of 4. The best dish was the fish dish then the soup. The tartare was ok. The polenta was bland and disappointing, but the mushrooms were good on top. The duck was good, but not amazing. Same with the pasta. The dessert was yummy. Spending over 400 dollars was not worth it though.

I loved the atmosphere. It felt cozy and relaxing. Not loud at all. I had the Corner store sandwich and can hardly describe how good it was. The egg souffle was a great way to add egg without it falling apart. The smoked bacon was perfect and there was just the right amount of cheese. Perfect toasted bun! Ill go back for sure. Not a fan of QR code ordering because it asks for too much information but you can order up front.

My husband and I made a reservation the day before. When we arrived, we were greeted in the foyer. Welcoming and friendly staff helped us to check in and escorted us to a private balcony. The seating area was beautiful and secluded for the majority of our experience (which was a major bonus.) service was amazing. Our waitress knew just when to check in and offered privacy for us to enjoy our dinner. Each dish was explained very well and flavor was impeccable. A truly unique experience. The seasonal menu that was offered exceeded our expectations. My husband and I had a lovely time. Definitely recommend for a special occasion.
