Wow if you like seafood you are in luck, oysters, oysters and more oysters. Food is fantastic and the friendly staff was excellent. Great time every time I’ve been there and I plan to go more often, if you are reading this you should too. Atmosphere is very casual and this fun restaurant is very clean. The bar has a good selection of beers, wines and cocktails and the friendly bartenders gave excellent service. I recommend this place to all of my friends and family, once you’ve experienced Allure you will too.

Went to Allure over the weekend and my wife and I each got the Special bourbon steak tips. The waitress said they were delicious. When I got them they were too chewy and fatty. The portion size was consistent as well. I got 8 pieces and my wife got 15 pieces so the portion size wasn’t even the same. My wife is also gluten free and the waitress said no worries they will take care if it. When she got her steak tips there was a big piece of garlic bread on top of it. So much for cross contamination. Also on her salad they put croutons this after the waitress forgot the salad in the first place. When I told her my steak wasn’t good she never asked if I wanted something else. The worst part was when my wife was throwing up when we for home. I guess the are trying to pass off old meat as a special. My recommendation is don’t go to Allure!!!!

I don’t know about the quality of the food, and probably never will. I just moved here from out of state, and this is my first Jersey winter. My car is temporarily out of service, and I was stranded at work waiting for my ride, who was 2 hours late and suggested that I walk down to the closest pub for a drink to wait for him. It was snowing, so the idea of walking didn’t appeal to me, but a co-worker said he saw a sign out front of Allure that advertised $1 beers when it was snowing! I thought that would be a cool reason to stop in and get to know a new place. However, by the time I made it there, the rain had begun to turn to sleet, and rather than at least honor the fact that I had just made the trek there in the snow by maybe just one $1 beer to keep me there, I was (quite rudely) told that it was no longer technically snowing. It’s not that I couldn’t afford a beer full price…in fact, me, my coworker and my fiance ended up at a bar down the road and had many full priced drinks…and food. It’s the principal of the matter, and the fact that over a few bucks, they would turn away a new customer. I will not be back to Allure, regardless of what they advertise.

We are strict about our $1 beer promotion that it must be snowing at the present time. I have spoke to the manger and bartender on staff and they do recall your incident and had just given last call for $1 beers prior to your arrival. It would not be fair to our other patrons if you were given the promotion at the time of your arrival after they were already given last call of the promotion. We are sorry for your inconvenience ad car troubles.

Went to the restaurant for a large family event. Found the food to be excellent and the wait staff to be top notch. Presentation was impressive. Great variety in oysters. Very fresh.
