My burger was quite dry as were my fries but I gave it another chance by trying a breakfast burrito the next day that was recommended to me. My burrito was very good and came warm/fresh but seemed way to small to be 14.99. Overall okay experience…

Diner perfection! My breakfast was cooked exactly the way I like. The cook chatted with us for a while. A great experience all around.

The message “cash only” has two meanings. One is, leave your credit card in your wallet. The second meaning, there’s traditionally good food here. And big portions. Hungry? Then this is the place to be.

Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious: NY steak(medium), pancakes, crispy hasbrowns, over easy eggs. I asked for onions and bell peppers on my corned beef hash and it was amazing.

The food was good, the waiters were okay, I did get my coffee refilled. It was clean, busy and quick. It wasn’t the best omelette I’ve had, but within the top five. My one issue was they brought my toast, nice and warm, then brought my omelette 5 minutes later. But life goes on.

If you want to eat like a local, come visit this joint. Really friendly and hospitable lady boss and staff who provided a very warm and friendly service to the three of us tourists who had no idea we were in Tenderloin.
I really enjoyed my sandwich which was a BLT, which to me was the most authentic BLT I’ve had yet since I’m not an American.
Thanks for hosting us at your wonderful eatery today!

The owners of this establishment are not pleasant. They hate the neighborhood in which they are located and are constantly rude to the locals. I have received poor, unpleasant treatment every time I have dined here over the years.
On top of piss poor management, the food is nothing special and a bit expensive for what you receive.
The location is surely part of the added expense. But, if they owners dont like who they are surrounded by then why be there in the first place.
Ive given this place many chances, but they will no longer receive any of my patronage.

When I lived in the area, early 2000, this was a walk to location on the weekends. Breakfast – great! Fun to see who the regulars are. Staff was always friendly and made sure you had your fill. During the week it was to grab a quick coffee or oj! Recommended for people watching.
