Such a great experience here! Was originally sitting at the bar waiting for the rest of my party and they asked if I wanted to get the last window spot and it ended up being the best seat in the house. What a view! For being a restaurant people go to mostly for ambiance the food was spectacular and off of a prix fixe menu with add ons available at an extra charge. Big portions so you really don’t need anything else.
Everyone enjoyed their dishes but highlights for me were the cauliflower soup, lamb and the chocolate mousse dessert. For the lamb one wasn’t as cooked as the others (true rare side) but not a biggie. I understand it’s a high end restaurant but would have also appreciated more bottles of wine under $200.

First of all… what a view!!! Staff was amazing, professional and personable. The bartender made us feel welcome while we waited for our table. He also made a drink to pair perfectly with my husbands meal when requested. We had a slight issue with our meal and it was handled professionally and the manager made sure everything was right. I was very impressed with the level of customer service we received. The food was delicious. This was the highlight of our trip and I highly recommend them!

Amazing views!! Food was good. Cocktails didn’t particularly like. Price a little high.

We dinned at Allreds for thanksgiving dinner. The first two courses were very good. Our turkey breast was cold not even warm. When we sent it back it took 10 minutes for new meals. In my view you go here for the atmosphere and service not for delicious food.

Not very busy for 7:30 pm reservation on Sunday of MDW. Even with crowds from the film festival in town. Service was fantastic, I loved the cauliflower soup, the surf & turf and the sticky toffee pudding was to die for. Can’t beat the gorgeous views. Gondola ride up to the restaurant is also a lot of fun.

Food was excellent for price. $105 for 3 course meal! We both had the elk and it was phenomenal. You get to ride in the gondola to get to this restaurant. Decor is very ski town/western. Where we were seated kind of felt like a cafeteria and was a bit loud. Could be easily fixed and dampened with some nice privacy screens with sound dampening integrated. Sommelier was so sweet and very helpful!

My husband made a request for a window seat in celebration for my birthday several months ago. When we arrived we were told the window seats were only for 4 people in the dining room. We settled for a bar top in order to get a window seat. The food was delicious but the service was okay. They forgot my husband’s drink through the entire dinner and empty plates and glasses were left on the table for a long time. Nothing special was done in celebration of my birthday either. A bit odd for this caliber of a restaurant.

We really enjoyed our supper at Allreds. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The food was amazing and the dessert was just as good.
The view is absolutely amazing and that much better if you can eat there during daylight. We will be back, one of the best in Telluride!

The view is amazing and we wanted to try this place but the food is pretty meh and not too impressed with their cocktails. The steak wasn’t good quality for waygu and the price. Steak was tough and over cooked and really tasted nothing like I expected. Overall the food left a lot to be desired unfortunately

VERY disappointed in overall experience. When you pay $250 a person (and that was just the food portion!!) With food/wine/cocktail- more like $400 PP), I expect flawless service. I understand that it was New Year’s Eve but for this type of restaurant, they should not miss a beat. We had a food allergy and they served the soup WITH the allergy. Thank God my daughter saw it and alerted the server. It took long time to get the replacement. Food was very good but service was slow. One of the steaks was ordered medium and it came out very medium rare..didn’t send it back because didn’t know how long that one would have taken since the allergy redo took long, Asked if we wanted wine when we hadn’t even been asked if we wanted a cocktail…and then had to ask for the cocktail menu as there wasn’t one on the table. The worst part was going to the restroom to find NO toilet paper. How does that happen in a fine dining restaurant? She just said ‘it’s been a busy night’. When we left, no thank you…just a ‘did you get your chocolates?’ Training needs to improve, unreasonable hospitality was not there, except for the sommelier (she was lovely)…the restroom was dirty. We’ve eaten here a few times before and was really looking forward to our celebration but you fell short…I expect way better from Allreds.
