Disappointed is an understatement. What a joke of a restaurant. Service was great, BUT THE FOOD Olive oil and the vinegar were both rancid. Caesar salad was okay, could not taste the truffle they mentioned, but I digress. The pastas… were plain horrible. I got the pasta ca’Muddica which was supposed to be a dry pasta, not here. Pasta came swimming in a sauce, all you could taste was ️. Carbonara tasted like it came from a box.

So disappointed in our meal. To start, the service was top notch! The food was an embarrassment. Thankfully we could order share plates instead of a whole meal, it left us the opportunity to leave sooner. We ordered the burrata salad. The dressing was good but the salad came with half of a burrata- cut side up. All I could imagine was all the goodness of it spilled out on a cutting board somewhere. The meatballs with ricotta was up next. They arrived 3 to the order on marinara with no ricotta in sight. The meatballs were dense and flavorless. We were told the ricotta was inside the meatballs. WHAT? This is an Italian restaurant? The marina had the same rancid flavor as the olive oil on the table. The dressing on the salad did not so that was probably prepared elsewhere. I don’t think there is a chef in this kitchen, shameful for what they charge!

LaToya’s fantastic recommendations were spot-on, enhancing our culinary adventure. Her knowledge of the menu and the drinks was impressive, and everything she suggested was nothing short of perfection. She remembered our anniversary and baby moon celebration from our previous visit, which made our second visit even more special. The food and drinks were incredible, perfectly paired with the stunning view that Alloro offers. The ambiance and the exceptional service truly live up to the Ritz-Carlton standard, a mark of quality that not every place in the resort manages to meet.
LaToya’s attentiveness and genuine care for her guests made us feel valued and well-taken care of. Her dedication to her work and her guests’ experience is commendable. She truly made our dining experiences at Alloro the highlight of our trip.

Stayed at the Ritz and visited this restaurant last night. The ambience, the staff, and the food were all excellent. The brussel sprouts were the best I’ve ever had, the red snapper delicious. The decor is beautiful. It’s expensive but I believe worth the price.

The food is a 5. Really solid dishes and cocktails, but the staff is unwelcoming and the service is a bit slow. The place is absolutely beautiful and set up with awesome ocean views. Probably would not go back just because of the service and strangeness with how they treat customers. This is especially weird since the service at the Ritz Carlton club was phenomenal.

Absolutely LOVED our experience at Alloro! We went for our anniversary dinner while on vacation in St. Thomas – we stayed at another resort but came here for dinner – and the staff made it so special, something we will not forget! We got to sit at special table overlooking the water at night, there also happened to be a full moon lighting up the water. In addition to making our anniversary special, they also had many gluten free options for me – including gluten free bread!!! – which was an extra treat! The brussel sprouts were amazing, we also had the gluten free pasta dish and the catch of the day! Incredible experience, fantastic staff, beautiful resort. The price is comparable to other nice restaurants on the island but the service and ambiance is head and shoulders above. Highly recommend Alloro, we will definitely be going back on our next trip, I’m sad this was our last night so we can’t go again this time.

Our server, Wendlynn, truly went above and beyond. I asked about gluten-free options, and not only did she bring out warm gluten-free bread, but she also arranged for a gluten-free bruschetta to be added to our appetizer order at no extra cost. She made sure I had plenty of safe, delicious options throughout the meal, which is such a rare and appreciated touch when dining out.
The food itself was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and thoughtfully plated. Portion sizes were generous, and for the quality and setting, the prices were very fair. It’s clear the team here takes pride in both their food and their service.

Subpar food and insane prices. Tasteless meatballs, pizza that tasted like Pizza Hut pizza (how does the Ritz not know how to make authentic margherita pizza)? Carbonara was good Caesar just ok. Would NOT recommend.
