Food looks and smells great!! First time here i was pleased with the fast & friendly service. The only thing missing was utensils, I mean I forgot to ask but then again I just assumed they would give me some since it was to go. But overall I’m sure the food will taste great!

I stumbled upon this joint randomly. The staff was welcoming and the food came out hot. I started off with some tomato bisque (delicious $4 for a bowl), followed by a burger (only average), and ended the meal with some key lime creme brulee (amazing). Great place to watch sports and drink a beer.

You MUST try the Chicken Pot Pie!!! #showstopper We happened upon this place when leaving Washington D.C. It was a SCORCHING HOT DAY and we had just walked around the National Mall. It had great air conditioning so we stayed and we were very surprised at how great the food was! The music wasn’t on and it was dead empty around noon. It was creepy quiet which was quite unsettling but the food made up for it. I’ll likely be stopping there again the next time I visit DC… With my headphones to have some sort of ambiance.

The steak was cut with a butter knife. Burgers are thick and wedge fries are delicious.
Breakfast served all day minus pancakes and waffles after lunch. Jambalaya was delicious, spicy not hot but very flavorful! Dessert was an experience in culinary amazement. The creme brûlée was sweet and delicious. The bread pudding was so soft so tender and made my day. Come check out Cody’s you will not be disappointed!!!
