The link to the online menu is not real. Nor is it even close. This is from 9/24/24, Today’s soup (just 1) was chicken noodle. The food was quite bad, even the little fly that diligently tried (and finally succeeded) to share my plate agreed. 3 white wines, 3 red wines. It’s really a beer bar. Don’t get the burgers. Maybe the ravioli? Can’t say.

I enjoy going there to have breakfast with my family on Saturday mornings. The waitress Shon is extremely friendly and always has an inviting smile on her face. The food is flavorful and there are many options to choose from. Due to COVID the breakfast menu is limited but the dishes are delicious!! Social distancing is practiced. The restaurant is clean and it’s an inviting place to socialize with your loved ones.

The typical hotel restaurant. The food was good. Service was good. The place was clean and roomy. My only complaint was the bagel on my Tuscsn Chicken Sandwich was soggy. Be sure to eat here if you stay here.

We were in shock! We used to go to Allgauer’s, not only for the fish fry, but other days. We loved their duck. We were in the neighborhood last week, and decided to stop in. It’s been a while. It was awful. Awful. And Awful. The spaghetti bolognese was green — not a hint of tomato. My cheeseburger looked like it had come frozen out of a box and microwaved. The tomato looked like it had been sitting on a plate all day. We couldn’t even try to finish it. The only reason we gave service an extra star was because he did try. But in truth, we were the only ones there, so he didn’t have much to do. Allgauer’s should be ashamed. And the menu online isn’t even close to what they have now. Beware. Or better yet, go somewhere else.

Excellent restaurant. The food, prices, and service were top-notch. The breakfast was great. The eggs were cooked to perfection. Visited for dinner, and the burger was fantastic. Nothing fancy, but the meat was fresh and tasty. Honestly, it’s one of the best I’ve ever had (and I consider myself a bit of a burger snob lol). The service staff were attentive and friendly. I visited 3 times and consistently had a great experience. At first glance, this place just looks like a standard hotel restaurant, but don’t judge the book by the cover! Check this place out. You will not be disappointed! I will definitely visit again when I’m in the area!

No hostess in sight. We walk in and a voice tells us to seat ourselves anywhere so we choose a booth in the back where we sat pre-pandemic and then get reprimanded by another employee that we can’t sit there. Moments later other patrons enter and sit where I was told I could not. The whole place was practically empty. Definitely not what it used to be. The server was clearly unexperienced and non-communicative. He must just be the booth bouncer moonlighting as a server. Took forever to take our order, took forever to bring the clam chowder. When it arrived it had a skin on it like it was sitting and moments later our entrees were sitting on the table. He never checked back so that I could let him know the salt shaker was seized up. We ordered fish fries and never specified all-you-can-eat but we were charged as if we ordered seconds and even more than the price on the menu, and then they refused to give us a carryout container for a single piece of fried fish. The baked fish was served on top of a pile of soggy french fries. The potato pancake was thick and slimy. The applesauce was not applesauce, maybe watered down apple butter? It was gross. I regret leaving a $6 tip but the bus boy seemed eager to please so hopefully he got it. Not going back. I wouldn’t suggest anyone go back.

Unfortunately we dine here 1x a year with out of town family passing through on their way north. This place has steadily gone down hill every year. Same waiter and bartender as last year…we all thought “this should be interesting” as last year’s experience was pretty bad. Enter an empty place ad told to sit wherever we want. Waiter, who has zero customer service skills, promptly hands out menus, which I might add are quite paired down now. He doesn’t take drink orders some say we would like to order drinks first. 2 in the party order Manhattans neat. He doesn’t understand. Goes over to bartender, she comes back asking “you don’t want ice?” Waiter puts the order in and starts to walk off. What about the other 2 in the party? We call him back and place the other 2 orders. He brings the drinks, and awaits our orders, of which we tell him we need more time. He keeps circling back as of he’s in a hurry to get that order in and turn the ONLY dining table over. He struggles with taking our orders but they get placed. Doesn’t even ask if we would like to start with an appetizer. Later we call him over as he never circles back to see of we would like another round. Food starts coming, well 2 of the entrees. Salmon looks good, chicken sandwich looks ok…although “house chips” are nothing more than a generic bag of chips placed next to the sandwich like at a fast food joint. Waiting waiting….10 minutes later the other 2 entrees arrive, along with the bill. It isn’t busy so I’m not sure why the food didn’t arrive together. Ribs look ok…my pasta was room temperature but I wasn’t about to send it back. No refills of water, no “how is everything” “or can I get you anything else.” All and all not great. Food, based on the bill was subpar and service was bad. Do not dine here unless it’s purely out of convenience.
