The Loop has the absolute BEST SANDWICH in North West Illinois. There isn’t a bad option when it comes to the greatness being served up from Linda’s kitchen. While some may think of this hidden gem as just a dive bar that serves good sandwiches; I think of it as a fine dining establishment that just so happens to be in a dive bar.

Love this place!!! They have amazing sandwiches. You can get a punch card after so many sandwiches you get a free one. The bar tenders are awesome and the crowd is always great people. The slots here actually pay out pretty well. The only bar i go to in Dixon.

Small town bar. Good place to have a drink. Friendly staff. Tilly is all that and a bag of chips. Got some great stories from Dustin about the Mumford and Sons concert held in Dixon in 2012. Great conversation is what really makes a bar great right?

I don’t drink but was very hungry for a sandwich- stop in and had one of the best sandwiches of my life and even got to play a round of pool on the pool table. Good times.

Good food, awesome bartenders. This is a dive bar with extra touches that make it a worthwhile stop if in Dixon and looking for a drink. My go-to. Try the Cuban.
