While in town earlier this month I found myself looking for something to eat late on a Sunday and I stumbled upon this hidden gem. Like the name, it was down an Alley but well worth the walk. I ended up ordering to-go, I got the salmon cheesesteak which was pretty decent, but the energy and music was what sold me. Shay checked me out and was nice enough to share the playlist details with me upon my request. The vibe was so chill, I knew I’d be back.
I came in a couple days later, late night for drinks and I brought in a decent sized group with me. Shay was AMAZING yet again, she remembered me and provided the same amazing service as before. There was a DJ in the building that night and he was nice enough to let us make a few song requests.
The energy in this place is worth stopping by for and the food and drinks were both reasonably priced. I also LOVED the decor, both inside and out. If I find myself in the area again, I look forward to stopping by again.

Unbelievable we sat for 30mins before anyone took our drink order once he took the drink order he didn’t come back for an additional 20 minutes.
When we tried to make our order we were told they have NO BEEF to make our burgers.
I feel as though that should have been said when we first got there so we could have changed our minds and went somewhere else. I ordered chips and salsa I asked if we could have that before the other hot appetizers he said yes. Not true an additional 25-30 mins went by and he came out with the hot appetizers and the cold one
The salsa tasted spoiled, the fried pickles were cut so thin that you couldn’t even taste where it actually was a pickle. Fish came out so greasy and then my specialty fries did not have all the ingredients that were listed on the menu. Fries were actually not even room temperature
The most diabolical thing to me is why was there only one person to serve the food, take the orders, make the drinks, greet and seat the customers????? I have been here before and the food was good the music the music wasn’t as loud as it was on February 15,2026.
Music so loud we couldn’t even talk to each other and the waiter/ man with a million hats could not hear us either. We had to keep repeating our selves. Chips were stale salsa spoiled fried cauliflower wing tasted like flour and batter.

This restaurant gives a great appearance, a great atmosphere. However, extremely disappointed with the quality of the food that we received. I ordered a fish burger, which was a humongous piece of fried fish on a sandwich. It looked good, but it really wasn’t. Had to be one of the most dense piece of fish I’ve ever had. They did not identify what kind of fish it was, and it had a coating on it about as thick as a fish itself. The sauce that was on it was fine, however not nearly enough for the burger. My son ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, same thing in appearance it was huge, but most of the largeness was due to the coating that was on the chicken, it did not have much flavor either. I had the hand cut fries. Those were good. Though our server was very nice and friendly, for the amount of people that were in the restaurant when we were, the service was extremely slow.

I stopped in for a burger and was very warmly welcomed. The waiter stated he liked the spicy chicken the best and I have to tell you – best spicy chicken burger I’ve ever had. Plus amazing fries. He was great and very attentive to my needs. Plus really good prices. I’ll be back if I’m in Columbus again.

We are not from the area, but thankfully, we stumbled on “Alley Burger” during our night out in Columbus. We discussed trying some of the more mainstream restaurants, but the vibe of this place lured us in. We were greeted by our server, Nyles, who was such a breath of fresh air. He lead us in great conversation and great choices from the menu. I truly had the best burger I’ve ever had – the BBQ bacon burger. My husband also loved his meal – the spicy chicken sandwich. We also enjoyed the Alley Mac. All of our food had something hard to find in most restaurants – seasoning! Everything was so flavorful. 10/10 would come back!

That’s a tasty burger! Came to Columbus needing a burger. Alley was #1 on my list to try. Brandy took care of me. She said the patties were “a good size”. I may have been too ambitious when I ordered “The Alley” which consists of a good bun, 2 big ole Wagyu patties, mayo, 2 slices of cheddar all topped with clarified butter… yum! The patties had an unmistakable beef taste—no filler here. My burger was accompanied with a medium order of fries. Since I was eating solo I probably could have gotten away with a small order.
I sat in the alley to enjoy the Spring weather. Rock solid vibes and patties.

To say service was slow does not begin to describe my husband’s and my experience today. The place was not busy at all, but it took 15 min to be brought menus even though we were acknowledged when we walked in and the waitress wasn’t with other customers even half that time. Then from the time we ordered (fried pickles appetizer, a salad with chicken, and a burger), it was half an hour to get the fried pickles, which were cold when they were finally served. So they’d been sitting there done, not under a heat lamp or anything, but not being brought to us. Again, the waitress wasn’t with other customers during most of that time. When the pickles were served, my salad was had just been placed in the window between the kitchen and the dining room. So it took half an hour to make a salad during not busy conditions. But here’s the thing… it just sat there. We waited another 30-40min, debated leaving and eating elsewhere, and then finally the waitress (who had been over by the window several times) asked to be handed my husband’s burger, which must have been sitting on a counter inside the window, and brought over the salad and burger. Based on how cold the burger was, it had to have been sitting there the same 30-40 minutes the salad was. To say the chicken and the hamburger patty were lukewarm would be generous.
I am baffled why it took half an hour to make a salad and a burger when other orders weren’t actively being taken, but whatever. I can live with that wait. But it boggles my mind why a not busy waitress (who was within our line of sight the whole time so she had to realize we were still there and hadn’t received our food) did not update us on the delay, or even realize/acknowledge the food was ready long before it was brought to us. She had stood right next to the window- right next to the salad at least, many many times during that 30-40 minutes, and didn’t realize it was ready?? Maybe she didn’t realize the burger was made for a while because it was on the other side of the window. But why would you not come over to the table and let us know one meal was ready and not the other, and ask if we wanted the salad now or to wait til the burger was ready. Why did she not ask the cook about the “wait” on the burger once the salad was ready? Had she asked him he’d have told her it was done and sitting there and we’d have had our food in 30 minutes rather than in 60-70 minutes from ordering (75-85 min from arrival).
The atmosphere was cool. The food tasted pretty good, albeit it wasn’t quite as described on the menu. But cold food and that long a wait when the place wasn’t even busy, is crazy poor service and an awful way to run a business. Would not recommend, honestly.

Went before a show this weekend. Liked that it was right next to Palace theater so figured we would have plenty of time. The two of us were there for over an hour and all we received was our drinks (20 minutes after we ordered them). Our food never came. They must have forgotten we existed because when we went up to pay for our drinks and leave, they assumed we had dined and dashed when we were standing right in front of them. Waited for 5 minutes for them to acknowledge us at all. Then they tried to charge us for our food because again, they forgot which table we were at and that they never brought us our food. Turns out it was sitting in the window and since they thought we left, (again we were right in front of them to pay) they sent it back. So then we paid for just our drinks. The two women who were working every job up front were cordial and we felt terrible that there was no help for them. But the place was getting busy about 45 minutes after we got there. There was no reason why people who got there after us were getting food and drinks before us. I genuinely believe they forgot that we were sitting in the booth in the corner. I was really looking forward to eating here as the drinks were good and the food looked delicious. But unfortunately I’ll never know. Just know they are very short staffed and you will need more than an hour here if you have plans.
