This place is one of 2 places I have found on Long Island that makes Veal Marsala correctly. They start you off with a bowl of salad and different dressings. Then the bread… oh man. Hot and served with the salad. The staff made me feel like I was having dinner at a family members house. The atmosphere was quiet and seemed to have had my Playlist on shuffle. When you first walk in you walk directly into the bar. They bring you to the back to find 15 to 20 tables. The decor is nautical. Perfect place for a date night during the week. We ate like pigs and had a drink.

Hayley, our waitress was delightful.
Our meal included the special for two people with whole lobster, shrimp, clams, crab legs, and muscles over linguine in garlic white sauce. Only issue I have is that the prices have gone up and the website still shows the old prices. In addition person who answered the phone when I called with questions could’ve been more friendly and amicable.

Old style family restaurant where you can linger and linger whether you want to or not. So be prepared to sit back and chill. It’s like having dinner in a private house. 2lb broil Lobster special for $30 cash was cooked perfectly. The 4 shrimp were large and the 4 clams plump and juicy in the pasta dish with additional chopped clams in the sauce. Shrimp scampi tends towarda Oreganata more than scampi. You don’t come here to be wowed but you come here for good old no frills Italian based food.

I have lived two miles from Alletto’s for 48 years and never ate there. For our 51 anniversary I wanted lobster and they did not disappoint! Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. It’s going to be a tradition now. Pics are before and after.

Was very sad revisit to an old favorite after many years. Service was awful. Literally took pitcher from a server just to get water for table. Had to track down people to get drinks for table, which were terrible. My “2 lb” lobster rendered maybe 4 oz of meat! Fresh bread & garlic mozzarella bread fantastic, but don’t recommend this place anymore. They seemed overwhelmed during early 6-7 pm dinnertime.

Ok so it’s not what I expected. The carpeting and decor are not to my taste. But I was pleasantly surprised by the seafood plate for two (there was alot in there). The food was ok some parts were a bit salty. The service was fine. Im giving it three stars because my daughters (who are both under 10 years) loved the seafood and the linguini. I guess it really depends on what your looking for… This reminded me of a diner not a restaurant.

By far the best steak around these parts! With all that is wrong with the TOB (pot holes, high taxes, etc.) this place is a hidden gem. For any of you who haven’t been there in a minute, it’s time you rediscover this staple of our community. FOUR DECADES of service, are you kidding me! Great time, great food our crew will be there ONCE A MONTH for sure!

This was our first time eating here. We shared a stuffed mushroom appetizer that was delicious. My wife had shrimp scampi and I had flounder. The portions were generous. The price was reasonable. Service was a little slow but it was worth the wait!

We spent Christmas Eve having dinner at the excellent Alletto’s. What a treat. We had the seafood sampler special for 2 which included clams, shrimp, mussles, king crab legs and a losbter. Everything was perfectly cooked and it came w 2 bowls of linguine with garlic and oil and a large salad and freshly baked loaf of bread. The lovely dining room was warm and cozy with the fireplace adding to the festive atmosphere. We have been coming to Allettos for years and have never been disappointed. It is our favorite seafood restaurant.
