I’m sorry Allen’s, but what is this garbage you sold to me? It’s completely inedible! The chicken looks and tastes to be just boiled and the sauce looks like snot and again, inedible. Luckily, my boyfriend ordered something that I was able to eat that we shared. Not a happy customer. Pictures are what I received and the other is what I was expecting.

The food was awful. The hot and sour soup was neither hot nor sour and just bland. The egg roll had little if any meat in it. The moo shoo pork was way overcooked nearly meatless and just tasted bad. The waitress couldn’t tell me the vegetables in a bean curd dish that I was curious about. When I ask for a carryout container the waitress came back with a box and shoveled the fried rice and moo shoo pork together in the same box. Consequently it was thrown away when we got home. The general attitude of the staff was one of intitlement. We won’t go back!

Our family has been going to Allen’s for over ten years, but today was the last time. Their food quality has been dropping over the past few months. Today we had egg drop soup that was almost as clear as chicken broth, no flavor at all. We also had steamed vegetables and there was more cabbage than anything else. The rest was either dry or tasteless. I’m so sorry this has happened to what use to be the best Chinese in the county.

Nice place to visit with family and friends! My first time visiting with family, the server was a little rough around the edges and bot patient with my elderly family members. Other than that I would recommend, the food was great!

After Allen sold I stopped coming here until July 2025. Service and food was good. Price higher = but there has been bad inflation the past 4 years = so the price matches other restaurants of these days.

I recently ordered a dish for lunch, Hunan chicken. I have ordered this dish at other restaurants, so I pretty much know what it comes with. This dish was lacking ingredients in comparison to other places! I didn’t see any mushrooms! Or green pepper. And then the prices are outrageous for lunch! I will not be in a hurry to return! The only reason I popped in on this day is because New China was closed.

Allen’s was delicious before changing ownership. Now the taste is off, tonight my food was burnt and my wonton soup had no wonton. I could have bought chicken broth from the store if I wanted that. Very disappointing.

The boss took our crew here for lunch on Thursday. The food was hot and delicious. The servings were large and fairly priced. I had General Tso’s Chicken with fried rice and an egg roll. Very good! I will certainly be back!

Ordered beef with snow peas. The flavor of the meat was delicious, however I got rotten snow peas. Almost everyone of the snow peas had black spots all over them. My meal looked unhealthy. We have tried Allen’s Chinese Restaurant several times and was hoping that the food would soon taste better, but it has not. This is my last order I will place with Allen’s Chinese Restaurant.

I do not understand I order regular egg rolls and there is shrimp in it I am highly allergic to shrimp. There is nothing on their menu that says anything about shrimp being in the egg rolls.
