We sat at the bar, and the bartender was great! Ordered a spicy margarita, even though it wasn’t on their menu. The chips and salsa were amazing along with the main meals. Can’t wait to go back!

We were happy to hear of the this New Mexican restaurant so we tried it out yesterday afternoon. Our experience was very good, the service was great and the drinks were really good also. The food was ok, the Al Pastor taco and the rice were very delicious. We weren’t fans of the chicken quesadilla, the chicken wasn’t white me or at least it didn’t taste or look like it. The quesadilla looks more like a large taco than a quesadilla. We will be back but hoping they change that quesadilla if possible.

The atmosphere is a whole vibe. The furniture comes from their hometown which adds charm and character . The food is authentic and the flavors are favorable to the palate. Don’t miss your opportunity to taste upscale Mexican cuisine . Also the bartender Juan is fantastic

Food is delicious and you can tell they put a lot of thought into their dishes adding their unique twist on classic dishes! Beautiful space with great energy, makes it a great place to grab drinks and catch up with friends.

We went at 6pm on a Friday and waited about 20 minutes after being seated just to place our first drink order. Service did improve later in the evening, but that first impression set the tone.
I usually judge Mexican restaurants by their fajitas, and unfortunately the $28 “NY strip steak fajitas” were very disappointing. The portion of steak was surprisingly small. In fact, our quesadilla grande (which was about half the price) had noticeably more meat than the fajitas.
To be blunt, I’ve had significantly better fajitas at chain restaurants like Uncle Julios. When a local spot is charging nearly $30 for fajitas in a city with as many good Mexican options as Milwaukee, expectations are higher.
The drinks were excellent, and the salsas were very good. One thing to note though: chips and salsa are not complimentary.
With the portion size, price, and slow start to service, there are just too many better Mexican restaurants in Milwaukee for me to see myself coming back.

We were so impressed by our first visit and excited to have them in the neighborhood! The chips and salsas were a delicious start to our meal. We loved the esquite appetizer, pastor and polo tacos, and the quesabirria. Everything was so fresh, bright and flavorful. Atmosphere was relaxed but elevated, and the service was wonderful. Prices were reasonable. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to go back!

Went here for the first time today, the restaurant is open and airy with great looking exposed brick and wood beams. We were greeted with a smile and sat immediately by the hostess. Our server promptly provided water and took our drink order. My wife and I shared the shrimp burrito and steak quesadilla, both of which were excellent. The Coronas were also icy cold and the margaritas were fantastic. We met with one of the owners and she shared with us how much care went into the food and planning of the restaurant. This is the best Mexican food we have had in our 12 years in Milwaukee.

Service was awesome and great atmosphere. I got the asada tacos and barria and I don’t know if they didn’t give me the right ones but the tacos were super disappointing. I’ve had way better tacos at (dare I say) bel air?? It was extremely surprising. Nothing on them, just the meat. Fand the flour tortillas tasted like they were packaged from the grocery store. Would go back but would definitely skip the tacos.

I saw this place on my FB reels. I thought, what a great place to try a new Mexican restaurant. I told my husband about it and he was thrilled. So Friday evening, 6:15pm when we got there, it was busy. No shocker there since it was a Friday night and fairly new. The hostess said it will be like 30mins. We didn’t mind. We waited at the bar…had a “few drinks.” 20 mins went by, 30mins, now it’s 50 mins (give or take). Finally, we got our table. As we sat down, our waiter didn’t even get us waters. Looking around, everyone else had waters. Anyways, our waiter got our drink and food orders. Drinks came, now waiting for the food. 15 mins. went by, ordered another drink. 30 mins, now coming up to ‘another’ 50mins (give or take again) for our food. When we got our food, I was missing a taco. I ordered 3 tacos, 2 Asada and 1 pastor with cilantro and onions but what I got was just 2 of my Asada. I told the waiter that i was missing 1 of my pastor. He brought my pastor within seconds but without my cilantro and onions. While bringing my missing taco, it felt very rushed and didn’t care. Not apologetic for it. The whole experience felt rushed, meaning our waiter was not into us, like Hi and goodbye. I get it, it’s the start of the weekend but I have gone to busier restaurants and got better service and yeah, I should have gone there but I wanted try this place. My whole experience was so so. Would I come back, maybe….maybe during the week, in the afternoon.
Thank you.
