Our experience here was incredible. After being on our list for a while, we decided to stop in on a weekend and were able to get a seat inside right away. We ordered the tasting menu and it did not disappoint.

The mezze platter is something everyone should order when they come here. The platter had some of the best small bites I’ve had from any Mediterranean platter. The bruleed goat cheese and pickled veggies were some of the most memorable.

The gambas and Greek salad were very flavorful and after this point we were getting full, the tasting menu was a lot of food for 2 people. The moussaka was okay, not much lamb flavor as it was mainly pasta. The baklava cheesecake was insane, the phyllo dough on top was perfect with the soft cheesecake underneath.

Will definitely come back it was a great time. Best food we’ve had in st Pete.

Beautiful restaurant, delicious food and top notch service. We had the octopus and tuna tartare appetizers, Greek salad, branzino, and cacio e pepe. The octopus was my favorite (I forgot to take a picture), but all the food was delicious. Our server, Corey, was friendly, and helped us pick out the perfect meal. The staff really make you feel welcome and work well together. We ended the night with their home limoncello – very, very good. Not overly sweet and not overly boozy.

Allelo is an overrated establishment defined by a severe lack of value logic in its pricing structure. While the base entrees and service are high-caliber, charging $18 for a side of gummy, low-grade chicken is an indefensible failure in quality control and value proposition.
Supporting Logic

• Price-to-Quality Disconnect: The “Add Chicken Shawarma” option is priced at $18.00—exactly 100% of the cost of the Mediterranean Plate ($18.00). For a side protein to cost as much as a full entree, the quality must be flawless.

• Substandard Protein: The chicken was fatty and gummy, consistent with cheap rib meat rather than premium breast meat. This is a material failure when charging premium prices.

• Drink Execution: The $15.00 Classic Espresso Martini was perfectly prepared, showing the bar maintains standards the kitchen does not.

• High-Level Service: Server Rachel D. was excellent, attentive, and provided accurate recommendations, which is the only factor preventing a total collapse.

Bottom Line
Do not recommend. The pricing is irrational when a single portion of low-grade chicken costs as much as a complete Mediterranean entree. Avoid Allelo until they align their ingredient quality with their “Beach Drive” pricing.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was fantastic. We ordered Mezze platter as an appetizer and since we don’t eat meat, they swapped the meat for double cheese. Our waitress, Georgia, was so observant that when she noticed we were running low on pita bread she requested more for us. For the main course, I got Cacio E Pepe and my husband got Seafood Linguine with side of crispy potatoes – and all these items were absolutely delicious! There was good amount of sauce in our pasta – unlike some restaurants where there isn’t enough. For dessert, we got baklava cheesecake and poached pear with vanilla bean gelato. I really enjoyed the poached pear. It was delicious. We had a wonderful time celebrating my husband’s birthday. Will definitely will be returning back.

One of my favorite dining experiences in the city. From the moment you arrive, the outdoor terrace welcomes you with a charming and relaxed atmosphere — perfect for dinner with friends or a special evening out. The service is attentive and always delivered with a smile.

The beef tartare was simply exceptional: perfectly seasoned, incredibly fresh, and beautifully balanced in flavor, leaving you wanting more. The gambas al ajillo were an absolute delight — juicy, perfectly cooked, and infused with fragrant garlic oil that makes them truly irresistible.

Every dish we tried was impressive, but these two were definite standouts. We will absolutely be back, especially to enjoy the terrace and the outstanding quality of the food. Highly recommended!

Tonight was my first visit to Allelo on Beach Drive in St. Pete. We didn’t have a reservation but were lucky to get seats at the bar around 7 p.m. They mentioned they were fully booked, though we did notice a few tables open both when we arrived and when we left. Still, we ended up having a great time at the bar!

The female bartender was pretty friendly and attentive, and the bar back (a male) was busy helping with table and silverware setup ~ both were good.

We ordered the Baby Gem Salad, Mussels in a delicious tomato sauce, and the Cocktail Shrimp, which were all fantastic.

The cocktails were unique and interestingly crafted. The espresso martini had an interesting twist ~ a subtle touch of amaro that gave it depth. The lemon drop martini was made with their house lemonade, which gave it a refreshing and slightly unexpected flavor. My friend ordered the Aperol Spritz and really enjoyed it too.

It was a bit loud inside, so next time I’ll definitely ask to sit outside, especially in this beautiful weather. The restaurant has a charming patio right on Beach Drive, a cozy bar area, and another smaller dining room to the right as you walk in.

The space is beautifully decorated, with a hand-painted mural of birds by a local artist. They even provided a list so guests can learn about each bird featured on the wall ~ a thoughtful touch!

I’m surprised it took me this long to visit, especially since I consider myself quite the foodie. Allelo has been open for 5 years, and after tonight, I can definitely say I’ll be back soon!

One word: WOW. One of the best meals we’ve ever had, anywhere. A local recommended this place so we tried it. We did the tasting menu and every single item was perfection. The beef tartare was probably our favorite, along with the caviar amuse boûche. But it was all just incredible. The wagyu entrée was amazing. Cool ambience, too. Service was outstanding – no notes!!

We celebrated Christmas Eve dinner at Allelo for the first time in St. Pete and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was amazing—every dish was flavorful and beautifully prepared. A special thank you to Stephanie, who was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and made excellent recommendations throughout the evening. She truly elevated our dining experience. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate this special night with the family.

Amazing food and service! All of the menu items are large portions and can easily be shared. Mt parry of 3 got the Seafood Linguine, Beef Tenderloin Kabobs, and Half Rack of Lamb. Everything was very delicious and we had great service, especially since they were very busy. I would recommend trying the PEI Mussels appetizer and Baklava Cheesecake dessert (regrettably did not get a photo of the cheesecake!). I’ll definitely have to come back!

I always love coming to Allelo, and most recently stopped by for brunch to celebrate a friend’s birthday. This restaurant is beautiful inside and out, from the bathroom wallpaper to the gorgeous views.

My friends and I ordered: Neuske Thick Cut Bacon, Ricotta Soft Scramble, Papas Bravas, Turkish Eggs, and Olive Oil Pancakes, with That’s Me Espresso (Espresso martinis) to drink. We could have ordered the family-style brunch, but decided we wanted more variety.

The seasonal pastries our server helped order were the stars of the brunch. It surprised us all, especially with how it was not too sweet.. just the perfect amount!

Will be back for the olive oil pancakes and deviled eggs, for sure!
