Old-school bistro offering elevated, traditional French dishes & wines in a warm atmosphere.

Reviews
The wine, le Merle Blanc de Château Clarke 2023 was bright and elegant, a beautiful pairing that carried the meal effortlessly. I finished with a plate of cheese: a blue, a goat, and a washed rind, each with its own quiet personality.
It’s the quality of service that makes the difference between a good and great restaurant and the service at Allard was brilliant.
Well done to the team at Allard for making my last Parisian dinner of this trip so memorable.
A timeless Parisian gem that I highly recommend
We feel that the food here is some of the most authentic and classic bistro food that you can find, plus it is cooked almost perfectly.
However, our only gripe/complaint is that every time we come the prices seem to be getting more expensive. Hence the 4 star rating.
All in all, if you’re looking for some classic authentic bistro food with classic dishes that seem to be disappearing like frog legs and pan seared foie gras, Allard is definitely the place to visit.
The funny thing is, while I complain about the price, I have a feeling I’ll still be coming back for another classic French bistro meal the next time I find myself in Paris!
Wine selection (red) was also excellent, it had a really great range suitable even within the by the glass menu.
The service levels were fantastic, the right level of looking after you without being overbearing.
It’s quite expensive but if you go in with eyes wide open and are willing/able to afford that experience , I would absolutely recommend.
Service outstanding and advanced.
The food is simply amazing, I didn’t even take a single photo, in my opinion, it would just be disrespectful to those who prepared these incredible dishes.
Do I recommend, yes, for pleasure and enjoyment (and be ready to pay for it)
Reservation, recommended.
The culinary experience at Allard is truly unparalleled. The restaurant serves classic French dishes, prepared with the highest quality ingredients and executed with impeccable skill. Each dish was a testament to the chef’s dedication to excellence, showcasing the rich flavors and textures that define French cuisine at its finest.
The service at Allard was top-notch and personal. The staff made us feel seen and valued, attending to our needs with genuine care and professionalism. Their attention to detail and friendly demeanor added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience.
In summary, Restaurant Allard is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic and exceptional French dining experience. We left the restaurant with full hearts and satisfied palates, already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!
