OK. So when we go to Vegas, we visit our family there. When we hang out with the family, we give them 1-2 choice spots to guide us as experts. And when someone says “Do you want to go get the best sandwich you have ever had?” you obviously are skeptical yet curious. That is quite the standard. I have had a LOT of sandwiches in my life and so probably have you. In that paradigm, I am not going to say this was the best sandwich I have ever had, but given the expectations, it WAS. Or at least close enough that it prompted me to start a Best Sandwich List in life. I think the hardest part was the choices. Well, the drive to this place was a little out of the way, but with so much pressure on this being the “best sandwich,” you get nervous about ordering the wrong thing. I got the La District. I dove into mine so fast after taking the pic below that I honestly don’t know what my wife or friends ordered, but they were all winners. My wife had one of the choices with truffle. ANYWAY, they are not massive servings, so if you are one of those BIG SANDWICH people, you might not like this. But, if you treasure every single bite of your bought product, this place is for you. The ingredients must be out of a garden outside. The meat must be from a farm down the street. My sandwich was AMAZING. I actually had to stop myself from eating the whole thing, so I could have some later. Then, I even portioned THAT. Then, I ate my wife’s leftovers the next day, and she understood my selfishness. This place delivers in every area. Service was perfect, place was clean, choices were many, and atmosphere was energetic. I can’t recommend this place enough, I highly recommend, and see you there (the next time we are in Vegas). It will be the “best sandwich you have ever had.” Or at least close enough that you won’t rebuff this review.

A brief stop at All’Antico Vinaio at the UnCommons turned into one of those unexpectedly memorable food moments.

For those unfamiliar, All’Antico Vinaio is a legendary Florentine sandwich shop founded in 1991 by the Mazzanti family. What began as a small storefront near the Duomo in Florence has since become an international sensation, celebrated for its iconic schiacciata, Tuscan flatbread baked fresh daily, perfectly crisp on the outside and pillowy inside.

The Las Vegas location stays true to its roots. The space itself is compact, with limited indoor seating, but there are also tables and chairs outside that make it a pleasant spot to enjoy your sandwich and soak in the UnCommons vibe.

We ordered La Caprese, filled with fresh mozzarella, ripe tomatoes, and fragrant basil, along with La Genovese, made with creamy stracciatella, tomato, pesto, and pistachio. Both sandwiches were outstanding. The bread was incredibly fresh, and the quality of the ingredients truly shined, simple, bold flavors coming together in the most satisfying way. Every bite felt thoughtfully balanced and indulgent without being heavy.

Adding to the experience was the staff, especially the young woman who helped us, who was charming, friendly, and genuinely welcoming.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience and a must visit for sandwich lovers. All’Antico Vinaio lives up to its reputation, bringing a true taste of Florence right to Las Vegas.

It was our first time visiting this sandwich shop and we were not impressed with it.

For a $20 sandwich, it definitely wasn’t that good. The ingredients are delicious and top quality, but the flavor is overpowered by the bread to meat ratio. It is not enough meat in the sandwich!

I also demoted stars for the bread. It’s tastes delicious, but its crust is so hard and sharp. I think that the bread was old and not fresh at all. It was cold and not warm like they are promoting it on their social media posts.

The meats did seem on par with the quality standard for this chain, however the sandwiches were overloaded in spread, with very little actual content of the meat.

The service was not great either, the staff is not nice, friendly and welcoming. They looked like they don’t want to be there. Very unwelcoming atmosphere.

We will not be going back and in our opinion it is not worth the money!

So apparently this place is a chain from Florence and they serve sandwiches. I ordered two sandwiches which were “La Schiacciata Del Boss” and “The Italian Hot”. The Italian Hot was the better of the two. It was a turkey based sandwich which had Calabrian chili honey which gave that hot and sweet taste to the sandwich. Would definitely comeback to try some of the other sandwiches.

I’d been looking forward to trying out this spot since I’d seen how popular it was in Italy and my sister and nephew confirmed it was worth the long wait in Italy. If you’re looking for a quick bite, afternoon snack, or a great sandwich it doesn’t disappoint! The sandwiches were simple but very good! I don’t usually like salami but the sliced/shaved salami was really good. The sandwich was big enough for 2 people to share.

I’m not a huge fan of sandwiches, but once I had the la schiacccciata del boss it was game over. It only has 3 ingredients but super addicting! You get a pretty decent portion for the price. I think it’s more than enough to share between 2 people. Service was so so, but you come up to order and pick a seat yourself so it didn’t phase me as much.

One of the most unique sandwiches you’ll ever try – this Florentine sandwich shop does not disappoint.

The focaccia bread they use is fantastic; crispy on the outside, soft inside, and the perfect vessel for the fresh, high-quality meats, cheeses, and toppings. We’ve been back multiple times and have tried a variety of sandwiches. Some stand out more than others, but they all have their own value.

This Visit’s Picks:
• La Paradiso – One of their most popular sandwiches and a must-try if it’s your first visit. The combination of Mortadella, stracciatella, and pistachio cream creates a soft, creamy, and incredibly rich flavor. It’s hard for us not to order this every time we come.
• La District – A brighter, punchier sandwich. The pecorino cream smooths out the strong flavor of pecorino without losing its character, while the peppery arugula and concentrated sun-dried tomatoes balance the creamy pancetta and pecorino. This might be my new favorite.
• La Summer – Light, fresh, and perfect for warmer weather. It reminded us of a caprese salad in a sandwich – great if you’re looking for something on the brighter, lighter side.

Final Verdict: 5/5

If you haven’t tried All’Antico Vinaio, I highly recommend it – not just for the uniqueness of their sandwiches, but also for the quality and taste.

I had the La Summer with added marinated eggplant, and wow—it was incredible! Every bite was packed with fresh flavor, and the marinated eggplant took it to the next level. On top of that, the staff were outstanding—friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. It wasn’t just a sandwich; it was an experience. Highly recommend All’Antico Vinaio to anyone looking for amazing food and great service!

This is an Italian style sandwich chain that gives sandwiches a different take from what we know in the US. First, the bread is focaccia, and it is the only option. Next, no more ketchup or standard American sauces. It provides pistachio and truffle base sauces. These are delicious . Third, no sides, like fried or chips, to choose from. Overall we had a good experience and the sandwiches tasted really good.

Last night our team had the BEST time at All’Antico Vinaio!

My company booked them for a private staff outing, and it exceeded every expectation. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and the staff was incredibly accommodating, friendly, and engaging from start to finish.

We sipped on delicious Aperol Spritzes and wine, made our own fresh bread, and sampled some of their incredible sandwiches. Everything was made with the freshest ingredients, and you could truly taste the quality in every bite.

More than anything, it created such a fun, relaxed space for our team to connect, laugh, and bond. It was an unforgettable experience from beginning to end.

I HIGHLY recommend booking All’Antico Vinaio for your next private event — or even just stopping in for one of their seriously delicious Italian sandwiches. You won’t regret it!
