All Star Donuts is my favorite donut shop in the Bay Area!! Their croissant sandwiches are consistently delicious, their donuts are amazing, and the drinks are excellent. The Thai tea is my favorite- better than any boba shop!
The staff at All Star are truly kind people and hard workers. I’ve been going here since I was a kid and they’ve always been so sweet and attentive to their customers. I can’t recommend All Star Donuts enough, next time you’re in the area give it a try, they’re a great local business to support!

I moved out of the bay 4 years ago and I still carve this place every day. I have gone here since I was 5 and have watched it change over time but they still have the absolute best ham and cheese croissant. The Thai tea and doughnut hold are so good as well. Still want to make a trip back soon for this place.

BEST doughnuts outside Krispy Kremes!! Doghnuts aren’t worth the fat, sugar and gluten usually but this place – IS! I stumbled across it years ago and couldn’t believe how good they were. Light, moist, fluffy vs dense, old or dry. Carmely flavors bcs they’re cooked right and have good recipes.
You can tell there are so many regulars that come here… Excited for what they’re about to get, versus other strip mall donut places where random scrappy people saunter in, desperate for sweet, no matter the quality.
I avoid gluten sugar, grains and deep fried anything lol. But this is my cheap easy vice☺️ Literally face-plant into these clouds of heavenly floof!

My son stopped in for a drink and asked for an apple fritter. The server gave him all he had left, presumably since he would close soon. The happiness and joy he shared when he got home was great. Thanks so much for your kindness.

Aside from my favorite breakfast butter croissant egg and sausage sandwiches and bagels! It’s definitely a you can have a chat with the owners ! I’ve been a customer for the past 14 years !!

I used to get all their fancy donuts like maple or cinnamon or a bear claw but eventually I landed on their plain glazed donut- I know it’s basic- but they are so good. I always ask if they have any hot glazed donuts and if I’m lucky they do and it’s a divine experience.

This place has the most delicious croissant sandwiches! The photos show a #10 with egg instead of meat. Very generous portions and super reasonably priced. The employees are really nice, too. This place beats the Starbucks next door anytime!

I’ve been coming to this donut shop for years since they have the biggest and freshest tasting donuts around. Whenever I come, I always order at least a dozen or more so that it will last me a couple of days. The donuts are very soft and fluffy, especially when you get them very early in the morning. The difference in taste and quality is very apparent as the donuts suit in the case throughout the day. They also have a pretty good selection of donuts, muffins, and other pastries. One of the things you have to try is the gigantic croissants, which are like bear paw size. The croissants are buttery, fluffy inside, and flaky on the outside. They also have savory sandwiches available cooked to order and they are really good too. The owners are nice and will sometimes throw in an extra here and there as a bonus for your business. They used to only take cash but recently when I went they started taking credit cards with a minimum of $10 purchase otherwise they will charge a small fee to offset the credit card company’s fee. This is a really nice local business that has been serving the city of El Cerrito’s residents and visitors for years. Pardon the attached photo, we couldn’t wait to eat the donuts since they were still warm when I got them. Haha
