What to order: Mexican Food
This is one of the very few places I have given a positive review for Mexican food outside of Texas.
We went to the All American Diner a few years back while visiting Ruidoso and were pleasantly surprised by the food. We went there for a late breakfast, but since it was getting close to lunch I tried their Mexican food. The food was pretty good, flavor was good, and was actually prepared properly with decent spices and seasoning.
Service was good, and the time from order to table was minimal. We all received our orders pretty quick and everyone in my group was overly pleased with their food. Everything we ordered whether it was lunch or breakfast items was good.
When I’m traveling I generally avoid Mexican food. Being from south Texas, we have excellent Mexican food everywhere and I’ve had some pretty bad experiences when ordering Mexican food outside of Texas.
I give this place 4 stars because not only do they have decent Mexican food, they excel at many of the items offered on their menu. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a hometown diner, with a good selection of food for all meals of the day.
