The customer service was good as was my shake and onion rings. However…

However…

The burger was sadly rather unappetizing. It tasted like McDonald’s took over a Five Guys; the beef was almost flavorless and the bun though soft and not terrible, didn’t add to the equation. The best flavors came from the ketchup and pickles.

I don’t normally sound so harsh in a review, and frankly I DO want them to succeed. However, I’m a SERIOUS burger lover but THAT burger make me want to turn Vegan for a time.

This entire area is going through a transformation, and trendier from years back when it has more used car dealers, tire shops, etc. So, let get to this All About Burgers.”

I am not a food critique, nor I went there to write a review. I made sure that I arrived with two young folks who wanted to try it out, and their opinions were also brutally honest.

The burgers were fine, lots of fries, narrow cuts, and testy. Although I was not in Philly, the Cheese Steak was a winner. I am a well-done kinda meat person, without any added stuff on burgers, it was plain as it comes, but overall will stop by again.

All things considered; a good first trip just to get out safely. I tried a Milk Shake, and again, happy with it. Sure, it was a humid day, so it melted rapidly. Perhaps it could be a little ticker when I picked it up inside, but that is not an issue, and real strawberries were used as I asked.

The staff was pleasant, and that is a plus. If you are unhappy, regardless of the food is discounted or tastes good, that can be a deal-breaker for me.

The outside setting area is wide, clean, and inviting, but one drawback I noticed, there we no hand sanitizer at the door or inside when we enter, but the spacing was good.

I looked around given this ongoing pandemic with people touching the door in and out to clean your hands as an option before setting down to eat or squeeze out extra condiments to impact a specific flavor, to enhance the flavor of your meal.

Maybe I missed it in another location but in today’s environment, that is key. Although many businesses are walking a thin line between wearing a mask or not, we kept ours on until we sat outside because I believe from seeing a few customers, it is an option hoping that customers are responsible.

Again, this is my humble opinion, and yours may be different.. Please get out safely and support these local businesses.

First time try it today. I had a very good experience there. I suggest to use Groupon to get the discount price. FYI: Onion ring is very good.

Way too expensive. Over $8 for a bacon cheeseburger….no fries and no drink included. Large fries are $6-7. Drinks are also a couple of bucks. So a meal is somewhere between $15 and $20. WTH??? You would think the marketing for this place would “Let’s price our stuff just under Five Guys since they are our main competition.” Instead they seem to have gone the other way. The burger itself was good and comparable, but the fries are portioned out in a pre-sized container. That is to say with Five Guys they throw tons more in the bag so you feel like you are getting a deal. Here you just feel taken advantage of. The seating is ok, but there is probably too much of it. The staff were not unpleasant but certainly not pleasant either. I see no reason to go back with other establishments close by that are less expensive with equal or better quality food.

Overall great experience. We had never been there before, the lady at the counter was very kind and polite. Everything was made to order. It’s just a little bit out of the way so if you’re driving North on Route 1 you almost miss it before you get into Fairfax County however if you do seem to stop and find it – the food is amazing!

Passed by here daily and was always curious about trying them out. Never saw many customers here so was bit weary. However it did just open and I understand it takes time to gain business. Tried it today and it was pretty good! Very similar to Five Guys in terms of flavor. Had a cheeseburger with medium cajun fries and couldn’t even finish it all – portions are big. Only downside is the prices. It’s costly for a burger joint but I’m glad I tried it. Will be back.
