I loved Alkoefeia! This was our second time here and we will definitely be coming back! We ordered the kabseh lamb which was perfect for 2 and labneh which paired perfectly. The food is so flavorful and meat is so tender. It’s a small restaurant and can get busy pretty quickly. The service is great; the first time we came with some friends and stayed until closing and were not pushed to leave early.

First time ordering from here. I really like their online website, makes ordering super easy. And I like how you can get delivery through them rather than going through a third party app. There are coupons on the website too for pickup and delivery. We were able to get 15% off.
Our food was delivered a half hour later but the delivery person was very nice and found our apartment quickly and dropped the food off at the door which was great.
We tried the snapper and vegan platter ($30). The snapper was huge ($30)! Enough to share with another person. Was on a huge tray of rice. The flavor was good but part of the fish was overcooked and dry and tasted a little fishy. The rice was excellent. I enjoyed the vegan platter, the cauliflower was standout. I also liked the falafel, which had a good consistency, flavor and wasn’t too dry. Their garlic sauce is good too, and we ordered extra. Our friend’s chicken and meat shawarma platters looked really good and I would try a chicken platter next time (~$17 each). They also got the mint lemonade ($7) which they say is really good, I would try that next time as well. It looked super green and healthy, and like a slushie. They make the pita there and the pita was warm still and had a flavor! Didn’t taste just bland and doughy. It tasted a bit buttery and kind of like pizza dough. Only $1 extra for pita and they gave us a bunch.
This place definitely gives big portions for a good price. I would try some other food again!

Very authentic Middle Eastern food! We’ve tried several Middle Eastern–style restaurants in Jersey City and decided to try this one in Bayonne since it’s near a playground where my daughter was playing. It turned out to be so good! Much better than the places we’ve tried in Jersey City.
We ordered the chicken kebab platter and the lamb and chicken shawarma platter, and both were delicious. Highly recommend the mint lemonade as well. it’s incredibly refreshing!

Food and service were amazing and everything was super great. People there were amazing and I had such a good time while eating there. The employees came up to us multiple times to speak and it felt real and welcoming and not for show. They were very try easy to talk to and the atmosphere was amazing as well, It felt very homey and cozy and there was many authentic Palestinian decor on the walls and in the restaurant. Volume in the restaurant was also good, everyone was enjoying time with family and friends without being too loud. Before we knew it the food was out and it was very quick for a restaurant, time passed so quick while we were talking to the employees and having a good time that we didn’t even notice, Food was amazing. Would definitely recommend, this was my first time but I will be revisiting when I’m back in this city.

As a food lover, I was truly impressed. The flavors here are rich, bold, and perfectly balanced — every dish tasted thoughtful and expertly prepared. We ordered Ouzi lamb, lamb chops, chicken shawarma, grape leaves (vegan dolma), and cheese salad — and every single plate was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender and juicy, the spices deep and aromatic, and everything tasted incredibly fresh.
On top of that, the staff is warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better.

I had such a nice experience at Alkofeia, they have many vegan options! The lentil soup, hummus & falafel platter were amazing. Abed was very kind & welcoming, I highly recommend this beautiful Palestinian restaurant 🙂
