Have been here three times last year, each time with different friends. I’d say it’s the best lobster places I’ve had in my 4 yrs of undergrad in Boston. Very fresh and tasty . When you go on weekends it could be a bit crowded but you can always find a seat. The deco has lobster net which is also very cool. Recommend parking at Wholefood market, just 5-10 min walk to here.

Probably the best seafood chowder and lobster sandwich I’ve had whilst in Boston, much better than the well known and touristy places… The staff are friendly and atmosphere felt local and no fuss. Highly recommended! Inside seating available.

A lobster spot near Harvard. We ordered the Shore Dinner (2 steamed lobsters with steamers) for about $45 for here and the lobsters are tiny.
No line when we went around noon on Saturday.
The lobster was decent but not outstanding compared to other Boston-area lobsters.
Outdoor setup is simple—restroom/handwashing is limited and there were no lobster crackers, so it takes some effort to eat. Overall: 3.5/5.

This is the SPOT! If you like fresh steamed Lobster, Steamers, etc. It’s a must that you try it. It has a small window to order, and some inside seating,( Maybe 7 Tables) And Outside has about 6 Huge Picnic Tables with Shades! It’s the Ultimate No Frills New England Style! I’d Recommend this spot To Anyone And Everyone! Enjoy

Lover sandwich is delicious, juicy tasty lobster meat on perfectly toasted bread. Also $33 is a little pricey. Lobster platter is also great. Freshly boiled seafood with butter sauce

We went to this little restaurant with our friends. The food is delicious. The lobster sandwiches is good although I still have think I like rolls more than sandwich bread.
The steamers and mussels are REALLY good.
Will I go there again ? Absolutely ! Next time we want to try the steam lobster and I will get more mussels again 🙂

Stopped by as a tourist on a Saturday afternoon. It’s a 3.5 for me but would probably rate it higher if I lived nearby. It’s a small shop in a residential neighborhood with extremely limited – maybe 1-2 spots – parking out front and no other easy parking options nearby. The seafood seems fresh and the two lobster and mussels set would have been a good deal, but we got the lobster sandwich and a bowl of steamers on the go. As a few other reviews mentioned, the sandwich is cold even though the bread is toasted, which I didn’t expect. I really liked the steamers, which were big and juicy, and preferred it over the lobster, but they were a little sandy. Would go back for the steamers if the parking situation was better.

This is the epitome of a no frills hole in the wall eatery. It’s a fishmonger place really but they offer a few items done very well for take out or eat in their small parking lot picnic tables. Even though it was a 90 degree humid day, we came at 11a when they open and ordered steamers and 2 lobster sandwiches. I felt guilty making then run the steamer on a steaming humid day but the person behind us ordered twin lobsters and steamers so this is their reality. The lobster sandwiches on toasted fresh scali bread is so New England and incredibly delicious in its simplicity. Very lightly dressed so the lobster meat shines through. No weird fillers like celery thank goodness. The perfect lobster sandwich. Better than a New England hotdog bun for sure. The steamers were perfectly done – fresh and delicious dipped in butter. I can’t recommend this place enough. Run here and come hungry.

The lobster sandwich was honestly the best I’ve ever had! The clam chowder had a rich flavor that I really enjoyed. The oysters were fresh too.
However, the store sold me the oysters even though they had run out of ice. (and charged the same price) I had to buy ice separately from a nearby store.

Delicious bowl of steamers!!! Would get 5 orders just for myself.
Lobster roll was good but not worth 32 (but lobster rolls are never worth 32). Seafood chowder was okay.
Edit: went back and have new recommendations: TRY THE TWIN LOBSTER SPECIAL. You get two very flavorful lobsters for just 42, with corn and mussels or steamers too. But if you order this, make sure to get there by 5:20pm, which is when they stop serving cooked lobster. The lobster bisque is great as well; it has a lot of meat and I definitely recommend it over the seafood chowder. We tried the crab sandwich, which was honestly forgettable. If you want a sandwich, get the lobster roll instead.
