My family and I frequent Ali’s regularly because the food is usually really good. I ordered the Philly cheese steak as I normally do and was extremely disappointed in the sandwich all around. The bread was very stale and was very lacking in the actual steak for the price of the sandwich. I did order it without onions and peppers so at least that part was correct. I guess I’ll stick to the chicken from now on.

My son loved the Nashville tenders until we received an order that was nothing but strips. No spice at all no sauce even. We brought it to the attention of the man at the food cart who insisted it was hot. Nope nothing like it was many other times. We won’t return.

Okay…I am fully scratching my head here on the below 4 star reviews… Yes, if I had seen these review ratings before I may not have ordered from them. However, thank GOODNESS I didn’t! This was one of the best chicken sandwiches I have had in Portland…and yes, I have eaten at Jojo’s when they were just a food cart and have eaten at many Korean chicken places as well. My honey butter chicken sandwich was so tender and juicy, the breading super crispy, hot, and was massive!!! The buns are so good…maybe an egg bun that was soft and moist (yes, I said those words together!). Fries were crispy and fry sauce was on point. The only suggestion I would give is please give us more napkins are the sandos are messy…messy and delicious! I will be back and telling my friends to order food here. The people are also SUPER NICE. My opinion is only my own, but I have a lot of experience dining at many places and can tell you, the rating does NOT justify the quality. I went in Sept on a Sunday in 2025. Cheers!

Worst service ever. Waited 1 1/2 hours for one burger. Each time I went up to the window they said I had two people in front of me. Decided to wait at the window and a customer who waited 40 min, I asked her how long she has waited, asked for a refund and they told her they would have it done in 5 min. 7 min later she comes back and three burgers are placed in her hand. If I had known that I would have received my food quicker if I asked for a refund I would have done that. Food wise okay. Order Mac n cheese chicken sandwich and barely any mac n cheese. Will not be going back.

Hit and miss too often. Sandwiches but fries are always over done. Sometimes you get sauce, sometimes they don’t give you sauce and charge you for it. Someone made their money and employed new staff to cut corners after eating here for over a year. Sad day but last straw for me after $36 for 2 chicken sandwiches with fries so dry sauce couldn’t help.

Very disappointing. First off, the picture was wrong. I ordered the cheetos crunch wrap, the photo had lettuce, veggies, etc. The meal I received was just sliced beef, sauce and 4 Cheetos.
Second, he asked if I want it spicy 1-10, I said 5. He said “jalapeno is 3”. So I said okay give me 4. The crunchwrap had zero spice, the only thing I could maybe say is “spicy” is the hot Cheetos.
Super disappointing for $19.

It’s a food cart that costs more than a nice restaurant, takes 40 or more minutes, and tastes like gas station slop. They only gave me half my order, and I threw it out after a few bites it was so repulsive.
