Having birthday dinner reservations elsewhere, my wife and I decided to stop by Alimentari Beach for an aperitivo. Once inside we decided to have dinner there. It smelled delicious and we couldn’t pass up the chance. We asked if it was OK to stay and they graciously allowed us to do so…we were not disappointed! The food, service and ambiance were great! We ordered the tomato stewed meatballs as a starter and for our entrees we had the burrata and prosciutto pizza + the penne bolognese which were all delicious! We didn’t order dessert as we wanted to get that elsewhere, but this was truly a deliciously memorable meal! If you’re in the Montauk NY area and in the mood for Italian food, make sure to visit this gem.

An awesome little gem in Montauk. The staff was friendly, some of the pasta dishes were good, the one that was outstanding to us was the pasta w mushrooms. It was incredibly earthy with strong mushroom tones. An appetizer that’s hidden in the menu is the unassuming is the cheese spread. I’d say it’s hands down the best item on the menu and it alone is worth another trip to montauk

Great food, terrific staff and a serious beach vibe! Think delicious appetizers and the perfect blistered crispy and chewy pizza. Our pre dinner cocktails hit the spot. Then a couple of glasses of wine while we noshed on our whipped ricotta, calamari and artichokes. Then we dug into our burrata pizza with prosciutto. So… a good time was had by all! (I can’t stress how friendly the staff were)

I really liked the venue. The food was fantastic. I had a window view, which is basically the whole place due to the wrap around nature, but it was awesome to look out over the main street and watch people walk by.

Two private chefs on our day off, first the only reason for the 4 star was the wait to get our food once we ordered, 40 minutes. Great quality food ingredients, well prepared, hot and fresh. Chatted with the GM a little after we paid and told him we liked everything but the wait. He then informed me they had just started their season and were not fully staffed quite yet (which finding quality staff out here is a problem) and there was a three day music festival they had town busting = everything checked out. In the end, EAT HERE = the bag of Caputo BLUE flour that just so happened to be sitting on the counter told me these guys don’t mind spending for the good stuff, just don’t come starving, but if you do, the food is worth the wait. We are working here all summer and will continue to review restaurants in the Hamptons area. Have a great dinner! ️

In Montauk for the weekend and I was so excited to try this restaurant. As an Italian I have big expectations when it comes to pizza, Alimentari’s food didn’t disappoint me – Pizza is pretty good, nice thin crunchy dough, good sauce and pepperoni. Unfortunately my experience has been ruined by the kitchen staff; when you work in a open kitchen you should be aware that customers are going to see you prepare the food…I saw the cook going back and forth being on his phone and vaping while preparing our food (without wearing gloves at any time). He even left the kitchen to take his break, went outside to smoke and come back without going to the bathroom to wash his hands. I never seen anything like that… so unprofessional !!!

Located right in the main plaza of town, this chic Italian Market has some of the best authentic pizza and rustic sandwiches we’ve ever tried. There’s a cute cafe for morning coffee and pastries, plus countertop seating, as well as a large outdoor patio for people watching in Montauk. In addition to dine in, they also have some high quality grab & go sandwiches if your headed to the beach!
