I personally loved the taste of mine. It wasn’t too sweet & was very cute.
The service workers here are very kind & helpful with the menu. Good recommendations!
The building itself is just aesthetically pleasing. They separate the room where you order & where you pick up your drink. Ideally, not somewhere you really stay in and enjoy your drink since it’s pretty small indoors
Try it!
I am a huge Alice in Wonderland fan and this little shop made my heart so happy. It is absolutely gorgeous and worth a visit if you are in the area. There are so many details and it is obvious how much love has gone into making this place as beautiful as it is.
I can’t wait for a return trip to try the food and drinks
Highly recommend for any Alice fans.
Now for my standard comments. Location is well kept and clean.
Yesterday we bundled up and went to Olde Mistick Village to enjoy the ice sculptures event. We had planned afterwards to go to Alice‘s to have a nice warm drink in their nice warm tea room so we could sit and visit for a bit.
We arrived at Alice’s 40 minutes before closing, got our drinks and had a seat in the tea room 30 minutes before closing. 10 minutes after we sat down and 20 minutes before their advertised closing time of 5 PM, they kicked us and many other customers out of the tea room, over our objections, saying the tea room closes at 4:40 PM.
So if you’re planning on going to Alice In The Village to enjoy the “immersive experience” and “magic,” don’t count on it if it’s anywhere near closing time. While the staff “can’t wait to welcome you,” they can’t wait to kick you out early, either. So much for enjoying the “experience.”
Location – Based on the decor alone, it’s a must visit with plenty of photo ops! There’s plenty of parking right in front of it.
Service – We walked in an hour before closing the staff was still very helpful and patient with our first timer questions. They also made the drinks very quickly.
Drinks- I had one of the Spring Specials Lavender Butterfly Pea Tea (lemonade, herbal tea and lavender) it was so refreshing and not too sweet. My daughter had the Strawberry Slush Tea with popping strawberry fruit bubbles that was very sweet for me but a kid’s happiness! My husband had the Brown Sugar Milk Tea which was fine not much different than other ones we’ve had. We couldn’t have the macarons as our daughter has a nut allergy. They use almond flour to make and not in a nut free space. But they looked delicious.
Seating – there’s limited seating inside. Probably about 5-6 tables mostly 2 seaters. We got lucky cause it was rainy late afternoon.
My only complaint is that I need a lot more visits to try everything on the menu. There’s even an option to make a custom tea that we’ll try when we are not there at closing!
