The Alibi Lounge in Shelby, MT is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, relaxed, and welcoming. The food was exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish was cooked perfectly, served hot, and delivered with the kind of consistency you only get from a kitchen that truly takes pride in what they do.
But what really made our experience unforgettable was our server, Ed. He did a magnificent job from start to finish—attentive without being intrusive, friendly, quick with refills, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. His upbeat personality and professionalism elevated the entire dining experience. Eds made us feel genuinely cared for, and that kind of service is rare.
If you’re in Shelby and looking for great food, great service, and a great time, the Alibi Lounge is the place to go. We’ll absolutely be back!

Food was amazing! I loved the burgers but the pizza we got had so much flour on the bottom of it. I took our waitress like 20 min to get our order when she was eating at the bar I almost thought she was a customer. I personally think thats really unprofessional and not even wash her hands before giving us our drinks. I would have left and call the health department for how this restaurant is going. The pizza people just stand up front gossiping from what it sounds like. The two people in the kitchen more or less basically do everything. I think the owner needs a new wait staff and pizza people. I will not be coming back and will be calling the health department for the gross and unsanitary environment. I really hope the two people in the back find better jobs.

We always made a point of stopping at the Alibi either on our way to Great Falls or on our way home to Alberta. We stopped yesterday and discovered it has really gone down hill. The waitress more or less just threw our food on the table. The mushroom appetizer was lukewarm at best and the chicken wings were way over cooked. The crust on the pizza was so thin u could barely tell there was a crust. Our overall experience here this time was very disappointing and will not plan on coming back.

The Food was decent. The filipino server/bartender never checked on our drinks or how our food was. She has a horrible attitude. I recommend sitting on the restaurant side if you want friendly service.

This place has went wayyy downhill from its prior service. Our pizza came out burnt, the service was mediocre at best. Was told that employees only last up to 6 months. The owner allows hostile work environments and has been sued and lost due to allowing this type of behavior. When people get tired of it they walk out and she never pays them either!!! The main bartender will sit on her phone at the bar and gets upset if you need service or assistance unless you are a single older man.

Wow, portions so large you would have to to be a hungry lumberjack or coal miner to finish. I could not finish my hamburgers and fries and dinner salad it was so generous. I had the cheeseburger and curly fries, my two brothers each had their specialty cheese burgers and fries also. I might have to skip a meal or snack tomorrow. Great service too. This photo shows what I had to take back to the room. Hopefully it gives you an idea of the portion size. The photo of the bathroom gives you a idea of the owners commitment to quality as it was all finished out it tiles which as you know is not cheap. There was even Hot water to wash my hands with.

I read the reviews and had to check it out for myself. The outside of the restaurant is very understated but when you walk in, it is a very nice restaurant. I looked into the lounge and it was also very nice. The reviews were right, the pizza was awesome. The deep fried pickles were different than we were used to but good. My daughter got the chicken strips and fries. The fries were amazing, the chicken strips were large and good.
Service couldn’t have been any better. They were friendly and welcoming. I do recommend if you are in the area, check it out.

GREAT pizza at Alibi and their house made ranch dressing!! They should sell it by the gallon! Never mind dipping my crusts in it, I wanted to drink it! Awesome experience! I had their sauerkraut/sausage pizza and Larry had a deluxe. They were both VERY good! I also had a hot buttered rum that our server had never made but she rocked it!
