No glowing review out of me because one isn’t deserved. My biggest beef with this place is the Carne Asada burrito is way to salty for my tastes. I spoke to someone about this and they said the Carne Asada is made up before hand and they don’t put salt in it. So be it, I just don’t order the CA burrito anymore, AT THIS LOCATION. The ‘berto’s in Pinetop doesn’t have that issue.
Another issue is I also judge a place by the salsa bar. This salsa bar is nothing to stomp you foot and how at the moon over. It meets minimum requirements to call it a salsa bar. What would make it better? Fresh Spiced carrots with onions and sliced potato’s for starters. Sliced cucumbers would kick that up a notch. A salsa bar is more that some red and green salsa.

I’ve eaten at every Alibertos’s in the White Mountains and this is the best one hands down. Now it’s my families favorite place to eat when we’re in show low. The food OSS ALWAYS fresh and hot and the staff is always friendly. I also have eaten their catering at a wedding recently and it is also amazing. We’ll be back again and again.

I can’t even bother coming here any more it’s worth the drive to Pinetop I promise. 3 bad experiences in a row, I shouldn’t have to come back to make it right, that’s the whole point. Just do it right the first time. Overcharging for small portions, not getting the order right when it was repeated twice and laughing it off at the drive through like it’s no big deal. This place went downhill instead of investing in the building let’s invest in the works and the customers?

Great food, inexpensive, very clean and a complimentary chip and salsa bar. Loved the mild,red salsa.
We ordered one giant quesadilla for the kids to share. It was so big they had plenty left over. The fried are also a large portion.
My husband and I ordered the two carne asada burrito plate and shared.
Also, The bathrooms were well-taken care of,but you have to be able to walk a few stairs to reach it.

Absolutely awful. How can you go wrong with a veggie burrito, chips, & a bottle of Coke? Let me tell you: the burrito was less than luke warm, & I had no idea what was in it. Mush. The chips had been fried 14 times. The Coke was warm. Terrible! And all for $14

10/13/25 @1:35 PM we came to get food today and every single time we have come here we’ve experienced really rude behavior from employees. This time it was two different ladies that had an issue and really nasty attitudes for no reason clearly they need a new job because they aren’t happy working here. We will not be returning to this location we are tired of having to deal with disrespectful and nasty people to just get food.

We come here almost daily because my husband loves the Carne asada fries and it’s very close to his work. Today there was a nice thick coarse black hair in my Carne asada fries. I immediately called and stated what I found when I opened my food box. I received a response of “well I don’t know what you want me to do about it” I said “excuse me” and the girl said “what do you want me to do about it, you want another one or something?” I responded “I paid for it and I’m not eating the one with the hair in it”. I drove back gave the girl the food with a hair in it and she handed me another one and tried to be discrete as possible because there were customers at the counter. But what great customer service huh, “what do you want me to do about it” I was so disgusted I couldn’t eat it I gave it away and they of course didn’t offer a refund. Their food is good as fast food Mexican food but MAKE SURE YOU CHECK IT before you drive off. We won’t be coming back to any alibertos.

Got 3 cooks in the back there no one knows how to drop a fresh basket of fries. The carne asada fries was absolute dog water on any standards, New Mexico or the valley. people in Japan probably get more authentic asada! I know this isn’t San Diego but damn!! Oh yeah, the horchata don’t even waste your time. They fill half a cup and make you fill the rest up with ice. These workers aren’t Trying to achieve anything when clocking in!
