The service is wonderful. The barista’s are friendly and welcoming. Shout out to Moon and Alyssa. I always get a non-dairy Chai with Vanilla syrup. I typically get it hot. This is a delicious drink and I highly recommend it. I have tried their espresso and latte. I am not a huge coffee drinker so the coffee tasted a bit strong and a tad acidic to me. Again, I am not a huge coffee drinker so I am not factoring this into my review. They occasionally have speciality syrups which are all homemade. They typically are interesting and a must try like the lavender. I do believe they need more standard syrups to select from. Their pastries rotate seasonal or weekly it seems. I have tried the espresso chocolate and pistachio rose scones; they are mouth-watering. They were not overly sweet which I enjoyed. Overall lovely atmosphere with a variety of seating options. This a great place to work remotely, meet with friends, and/or grab a quick treat from. It typically never is above moderate noise. Highly recommend this local cafe and it is worth trying!

One of the best (hot) lattes I’ve had in a long time. Wonderful flavor, temperature was perfect. With a splash of homemade brown sugar simple syrup. My husband had their regular black coffee and he said it was superb. The barista was friendly and efficient. We’re glad we chose this coffee shop as we were just passing thru Albany. 100% recommend.

Alias Coffee in downtown Albany is a wonderful discovery for coffee lovers and remote workers alike. The space is large and thoughtfully divided into different sections — from comfy sofas and poufs to a long communal table — allowing guests to choose the vibe that suits them best. Whether you’re here for focused work or casual relaxation, the layout makes it easy to settle in.

The coffee itself is excellent. We ordered a cortado and a latte, both prepared with care and served promptly. The staff is friendly and professional, maintaining a warm atmosphere without being intrusive. Their efficiency and positive attitude add to the overall experience, making you feel welcome whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor.

What stands out most is how well the café balances its purpose. It caters perfectly to two main crowds: office workers looking for a high-quality to-go coffee and people wanting to spend a few productive hours on-site. The environment is lively but not overwhelming, with just the right level of background buzz to feel connected without being distracted.

Overall, Alias Coffee offers great drinks, a pleasant setting, and a versatile space that adapts to different needs. It’s definitely a spot we’d return to — whether for work, a quick caffeine fix, or just to enjoy the atmosphere.

The oat cappuccino was SO good. Like, actually one of the best I’ve had. Creamy, perfect balance — 10/10.

Andrew was super warm, friendly, and actually took the time to chat instead of just rushing through the order. It felt genuine, and that kind of vibe makes such a difference.

What a lovely place! It did take me a couple trips around the block and some bad parallel parking to find a parking spot but once I did, it was a great. The menu is simple and they offered 3 flavored syrups as options so don’t come if you’re looking for a fru fru (spelling? I made it up) coffee drink. My maple latte was delicious and the foam design was just what I was looking for. I also spent an hour in the comfy chairs in the front window and I will absolutely return.

Best coffee I’ve found in Albany. The shop is very cute with great decor and seating. They also play great jazz music in here on their speakers. The coffee was very tasty with good latte art. The staff were super friendly and nice. They clearly take great care in their coffee and espresso!

I’ve only tried the coffee so it’s a bit too early to do a review. I’ll update this after my wife tries the Matcha. The coffee is good. The place looks amazing, with lots of room for an improve meeting if need be.

Decent cup of coffee. This was a recommendation from a patron from another shop. For an iced latte they only have a 16 oz and it’s pricier than most shops in the capital district. It’s cute inside with nice seating. They don’t have signature drinks and I couldn’t tell if there were syrup flavors. Service was below average. Very basic coffee shop.
