Ali Mahal Restaurant, Bristol (Shirehampton) is one of the best Indian restaurants in the area. The food was absolutely amazing, with a great variety of dishes, all cooked to a very high standard.
My favourite dish was the garlic chicken tikka chilli ️ bhuna — it was very tender, full of wonderful flavours, and perfectly balanced with spice. The quality of the food and the taste really stood out.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious Indian food in Shirehampton. I will definitely be coming back again.

Ali Mahal Indian Shire is my favourite Indian restaurant and takeaway. Today I had the Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi — it was very tasty, with less oil, full of flavour, and served hot and fresh. The curry was warm and delicious, and the staff were very nice and welcoming. I really enjoyed the food and will definitely come back again. Highly recommended for everyone!

I ordered from here on uber eats, based on the positive reviews.
I have never had so many issues with an order.
In order of severity: the meat was severely undercooked in my dopiaza, there was a chunk of elastic band in it, the yoghurt dip was completely rancid, lumpy and fizzy, the dopiaza was absolutely swimming in grease and the prawn puri had absolutely no taste. My meal was not just a disappointment, it was a genuine safety risk. Stay the heck away from here!!!

Order from Ali Mahal last night, delivery was very fast, it was one of the best Indian takeaways I’ve ever had it was lovely. Came with all the condiments salad, dips, garnished onions, poppadoms and a naan all for free! Which was delightful. Glad to have discovered this little gem especially as it is round the corner, thank you !

We just ordered a takeaway and found hair in our food, absolutely disgusting. I asked for a refund and was asked to bring the hair in?! And whilst speaking to the manager he walked off as if I was lying to him. Would avoid, I am certainly never going back.
