Parking is never an issue, as the complex offers ample space, which is always a plus when dining out.
The service was good—attentive and courteous—but the real talking point here is the food. We tried the chicken shish and the koobideh, and both were excellent. The meats were well seasoned, perfectly cooked, and impressively succulent. The saffron rice deserves a special mention as well—flavorful, aromatic, and importantly, not dry, which can often be the case elsewhere.
We also ordered the falafels, which were quite filling and satisfying, making for a great accompaniment to the mains.
If there’s one suggestion for improvement, it would be to include some house-made breads, which are something many of us are accustomed to at Middle Eastern restaurants and would elevate the experience even further.
That said, this was a very nice dining experience overall, and the pricing felt fair for the quality and portion sizes. Definitely a place worth revisiting, and we’ll be back again.
The food is and remains excellent and very reasonably priced. The food quality is great. Food is served in a timely manner by polite friendly servers.
The ambience has changed a bit. One could purchase Persian groceries and stuff but that is not possible now. There used to a band stage which is gone. Not complaining but now it’s more formally a place to eat.
Again service and food quality is very good and should satisfy folks looking for a great variety of middle eastern food.
Food is clean, restaurant is beautiful. It was busy on a Sat afternoon but my to go was ready quick. I ordered online through their website.
My family is Persian so eating this type of food is normal in my house and my family so I’m can also be very critical when I go to a restaurant.
What can I say? We ordered a house platter because there were four of us celebrating and we wanted to try a little bit of different things. The food, the flavor, the smell, the taste, the presentation the way it should taste from my perspective as a Persian. Everything was delicious. Well done.
You have to order the yogurt with cucumber and they use mint. Our family uses dill. That’s OK. It’s a good compliment to the rice and the meat. We did order baklava and it was very very good. Don’t miss this cultural experience if you have not had Persian cuisine.
We arrived around 6:20 p.m. and were initially seated in the center of the restaurant. When a window booth became available, I politely asked if we might move there. We were told it would take a few minutes due to other priorities, which we completely understood and were happy to wait for. After a short time, the table was cleared and we were reseated.
The food was truly delicious and lived up to the great things we had heard. Unfortunately, after our meals were served, we did not receive much follow-up service. Our plates remained on the table for some time, and we were not checked on regarding refills or additional needs, not even once. The restaurant was mostly empty during our visit, which made the lack of attentiveness more noticeable.
Toward the end of our meal, around 7:30 p.m., we were presented with the bill. I inquired about ordering saffron ice cream for dessert but was informed the kitchen had closed. We were a bit surprised, as a newly seated table beside us had not yet placed their order. There also seemed to be some confusion regarding our check due to our change of tables.
Overall, the food was excellent and certainly the highlight of the evening.
We also ordered the app titled Vegetarian Trio (a sampler of hummus, tabouleh, & falafel). The app was good. Standard hummus, pretty good falafel, and a tabouleh that was Very herbaceous, so just be aware of that.
The main event food was excellent. I will state this right now, this place has the beat Middle Eastern meat in Orlando. Those kebobs were huge, they were tender, they were juicy, they were flavorful, they had a perfect amount of char. I was so shocked, I can’t even pick a favorite. They were all actually amazing.
I’m glad the meat was good, because the rice it was sitting atop of was not good. Very bland, and the Adaspolo (lentil rice with caramelized onion & raisins), was also a let down, compared to somewhere else in town I’ve been to. But the meat, come here for the meat. Wow, so good.
Great Persian food. I highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for something unique and high quality. Try the ice cream!
