Middle eastern food is best served simple. Ali Baba delivers. Everything was fresh and delicious. The hummus was authentic, which is not an easy thing to do and maintain outside of the Middle East.
If I lived in Boulder I’d be having lunch here every week.
Nice to have authentic Arab coffee which takes more effort to make but is worth every bit.

Absolutely love Ali Baba Grill! The food is consistently delicious and incredibly authentic—from the flavorful kabobs and creamy hummus to their perfectly crisp falafel, everything is made fresh and full of vibrant flavors. Years ago, we had our rehearsal dinner here and the owners went above and beyond to accommodate us. Their warmth and hospitality made the night unforgettable. Every time we’re in Boulder, it’s a must-visit for us. And whatever you do, don’t leave without trying their chai tea—it’s the perfect finishing touch to an amazing meal! Highly recommend.

Classic example of a restaurant with an owner who cuts corners and buys frozen everything. Many of the other negative reviews have responses from the owner that are oddly aggressive and very unprofessional. I almost hope the owner responds to this review so that I can personally ask him for a refund. Cheese Pizza was overcooked and had no feta cheese whatsoever, and the mozzarella was absolutely the pre shredded crap. My gyro had big chunks of tomato, that had not been de-stemmed, or cut with any regularity… I doubt they were washed, with the type of sloppy food prep going on. The gyro meat was also sloppily cut, and some pieces were almost an inch thick, ruining the texture. Very disappointing experience, and I would recommend folks go to Kalita Grill Greek Cafe, instead.

Skeptical at first. Which is easy to feel coming into a restaurant you’ve never been to, in a town you’ve never been to. This was quickly dismissed with the amazing hand painted artwork around the restaurant. We came around 3 after missing lunch and needed food while charging the car. This exceeded our expectations. The food was wonderful. And I highly appreciate the servers willingness to answer questions we had about the artwork around the room. My only qualm was the price of the chicken nuggets which looked really cheap but the rest of the food was so good I can overlook it.

This spot is a fantastic mom n pop spot for kebabs and Lebanese dishes. We had lamb, kefta, and beef kebabs, chicken shawarma, and kibbeh. EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious, excellent portions and fair prices. The service was quick and very nice. We will definitely stop here again when we travel through Boulder.

Boulder doesn’t have many choices for Mediterranean or Middle Eastern food. But this place has a wide range of Mediterranean type food. I have tried the lamb shank and many of the side dishes and I was pleasantly surprised. Food level is very good.

Wow! Talk about authentic Mediterranean cuisine!!!
We accidentally stumbled onto this place. The cuisine was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! The food we had was delicious and the service was great!
This establishment seems to be run by a Lebanese family. They were very friendly and I noticed how they were helping each other out quite cohesively ( so service didn’t suffer).
Everything on the menu, IMO, is good. They also give you a lot of food — so prepare to take a lot of food home with you. The Kebbi balls (ground lamb coated with a thick layer of buckwheat and then deed fried) is a must try. The humus tasted home made and pita bread was warm (which was awesome). I also recommend the Turkish Coffee.
