I have found THE place to go for pasta and pizza in the city. A family Italian place!
They were so friendly and genuine when I arrived. And I learned very quickly that it’s impossible to tell the regular customers from the new ones. Everyone is greeted the same. I actually enjoyed ordering my food, which isn’t something I think I’ve ever said before. It’s what I imagine it just be like to have dinner at Nona’s house if you had a Nona.
While waiting for my food (which didn’t take long at all), I was able to enjoy listening to the Italian conversation as they worked away and watch them interact with the many customers who came and went. It’s a very busy place!
The food was nothing short of amazing. Usually when I get pasta, the sauce is thin or bland. This was so darn good. Everything was cooked perfectly. They checked in on me regularly despite being ridiculously busy. The whole thing was just great.
I did eat in, but it only has 3 tables and a few chairs. I feel like, if I had come during the support rush, I wouldn’t have been able to eat in. That said, it’s worth it.
I think this would be the perfect place to order a picnic or date night food you could enjoy at a quiet location.
Anyway, highly recommended. I look forward to making this my regular place to go.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. This small, family-owned Italian restaurant completely exceeded every expectation. The pizza was hands down the BEST we’ve ever had — and that’s coming from someone who is a very picky eater, so trust me when I say that means something. The crust was perfect, the sauce was rich and flavourful, and everything tasted so fresh and authentic.
What made it even better was the family who runs it. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel like we were guests in their home rather than just customers. You can truly feel the love they put into both their food and their restaurant.
And the pasta portions?! Insane (in the best way). The serving size was huge for the price, and it tasted absolutely AMAZING. Every bite was comforting, homemade, and full of flavour.
Supporting small businesses like this is so important — and this one deserves all the love. We will 100% be back.

Had a great experience trying it for the first time. We didn’t realize it was a takeout until we got there but they let us eat in. The people were great and welcoming. The portion sizes were fantastic as well. Had the blooming onion, white pizza, fettuccine bolognese and carbonara and they were all good.

We ordered a small pizza with pepperoni and pineapple toppings and a garlic dipping sauce, and a full penne rose pasta. This was dinner for two of us. The pizza was delicious! A tad spicy (I think that was the pepperoni) but that was great! A softer crust but really yummy. The pasta sauce was INCREDIBLE and it came with a garlic toast! When we got our delivery, the delivery person (I think he was the owner) did not even give us the opportunity to tip. I had heard this from a co-worker who orders there, who asked why she couldn’t tip and the owner said “you ordering is putting food on my family’s table – that’s all I need.” It was quite kind and beautiful. Please, if you are looking for a new place – try this one!

I have been ordering food from Alfredos for over 21 years. I was practically 1 of his first clients. Fell in love with his food his wife and son instantly. They make you feel like family. His food is more than enough per serving… if you want a panzerotti thats not fried but baked and enough to last you a couple of days than this is the place to go. He makes an amazing plate of gnocchi, again enough to feed 2 people. His Alfredo specialty sandwich is great and full of flavor. His blooming onions are a hit with my sons. Always crispy never soggy when delivered. There’s not 1 item on the menu that isn’t worth trying.

Have ordered pizza here a couple of times and every time, it’s always delicious. Spot on ratio of sauce and toppings. We dare say its some of the best pizza in Hamilton! The prices are reasonable. The staff consistently very friendly.

Our first time eating at Alfredo’s and it was amazing, the owners are so friendly and welcoming. The food is all freshly made and taste delicious. We had the blooming onion and a Greek salad with a small pizza. We definitely recommend this cozy family friendly restaurant. We will definitely be getting our pizzas from here.

This was our first time trying Alfredo’s after reading many positive reviews. We wound up getting garlic bread with cheese, and a large pizza.
The staff were very welcoming, and made it seem like we’ve known them for years. It reminded us of the old family celebrations, with the older generation cooking like it was the “old country”, and a great family atmosphere.
The garlic bread was good. The pizza was one of the best we’ve had.
We will be back, and will try many more things from their menu!

First time coming to Alfredo’s and I have to say it was a pleasure. People are fantastic. They knew everybody that came in the door. It was great. The food was great The sauce was fantastic! Chicken alfredo was fantastic and the salad was definitely a nice portion. If you are looking for a great Italian food place this would be the place to go! Thank you again! Will definitely be ordering from you again!
