Alforno’s Italian Kitchen, a family owned restaurant, was opened in 1996 at the current location. Alforno’s has been the staple for authentic Italian cuisine in the Flower Mound area. Robert who has been in the restaurant industry for more than 50 years has started Alforno’s with an objective of providing unique dining experiences to his customers – providing quality Italian dishes with exceptional service under pleasant ambiance.
Classic pastas & New York-style pizzas are served in a wood-paneled room with cityscape murals.

Don’t let the old fashion table cloths and wood paneled walls fool you. This place is the definition of don’t judge a book by it’s cover. The gluten free pizza was awesome, I’m so happy it wasn’t dry cauliflower crust like many other restaurants. This pizza had substance and flavor, I enjoyed every bite.

We love the pizza here at Alforno’s. Large portions and very good quality. All your normal toppings and combinations are available, but I recommend checking out their alfredo pizza. It is SO good. We almost exclusively get this whenever we do order from here. The pickup counter is straight ahead by the way when you come in if you order take out. Just follow the signs!

My wife and I have visited this place in the past 2 years 3 different times, and unfortunately, the consistency of lack of service and the stigma of prejudice seem to show forth each time we’ve visited. Typical American Italian restaurant. Quietly efficient service. Tonight (Saturday) there was live music with a repertoire of mid-70s popular numbers. One of the few places I’ve lately been to that seem to have adequate, attentive staff.

Love this local restaurant! Alfornos has wonderful chicken cacciatore, piccata and lasagna and their pizza is fantastic. The live music on the weekends is a lot of fun. We enjoy this place so much we spent Christmas Eve there last place!

Wow!!!!! I had been a loyal customer for several years to another Italian restaurant in Flower Mound. At least 1-2 times/month, orders $90-$100. I called tonight to place an order and for the first time about 2 items on the menu so I can make a decision, willing to try something different. I’m a very rude manner, guy tells me he’s too busy to answer my questions. At that point they lost me.
