I think it has potential. I was being quick to recommend to my family just by seeing how big they were and outside said homeade tortillas until i opened my burrito. The filling was cold and the egg was too scramble into tini itty pieces it kept falling out making a mess-messy to eat and it had no flavor. The bacon was chewey but spicy salsa was good. I think it could be bomb burritos if they improved on how they scrambled their egg

Nice ladies cooking and working hard but the quality of food is not good. The eggs are scrambled too hard and were old. The steak burrito leaked grease and they forgot to add my beans. I definitely would pass and find another spot.

Very good food! Very good service! Very CLEAN establishment! I was recommended to try their famous breakfast burritos. I’ve had a plate a couple times too and always leave satisfied! If you’re in the area DEFINITELY stop by! I always make sure to stop here when in DFW.

Had huevos rancheros, it came with potatoes, beans and bacon. So much food, I couldn’t finish. Thick cut bacon, . The coffee was so good I had to cut myself off. My hubby had burritos, he like the bean and chorizo better than the chorizo con huevo y papas. Ohh and the salsa was just right. Very tasty, very homemade reminded me of my abuelas, roasting the veggies on the comal. No photos, because I forgot to feed the camera first.

I was really disappointed with my visit. The menudo had no flavor at all, and the small drink was overpriced at $4. On top of that, they were out of both barbacoa and potatoes, which was really frustrating. Definitely not worth the money.

The tortilla is a regular flour tortilla just homemade. The bacon was not cooked enough, the beans were a bit burned and the egg was overcooked. The potatoes were soft and overall it had a decent flavor. Good for a quick bite if you’re starving and don’t know any other places.. also the strawberry “agua fresca” is definitely not made with fresh fruit but rather flavor packets like the ones you can buy at the store. Jamaica water was also decent

Just don’t!!! Stopped by one mid morning. The restaurant appeared clean. I was the only customer. I was not greeted when I walked in… I brushed it off. Eventually I ordered 2 breakfast burritos.. they were huge!!! The size of the burrito was the only good thing about them. I got a bacon, egg, cheese ,and a potato ,egg ,cheese. The potatoes had no seasoning and basically everything tasted bland. Each taco when adding cheese is over 5 dollars… not worth the price.

Carne asada & asado rojo meat quality is extremely bad. Ordered 2 barbacoa burritos and got bacon and egg instead . Aguas frescas(horchata & watermelon) are delicious and daughter lover her chilaquiles verdes. Will not be returning, place is sadly overhyped on social media

Not the best breakfast burritos! I I make better ones at home but the social media hype persuaded the expedition. Initially, started in drive-thru, but due to the long wait and rising temperature it was decided upon to dine in. The line inside was as long as the line outside— not because the food is so great! Anyway, I ordered two bacon, potatoes and egg burritos along with a churro. As if I didn’t wait long enough in drive-thru, the wait for food was just as long. I believe it was an estimated 20 minutes before our food was brought out. One would think that with all the wait, our burritos would be hot— not! In fact they were lukewarm. Yes, lukewarm. Not a good. The churro was hotter than both the burritos and outside. The best part of the visit was the churros to be honest. When food is brought to the table it should be at least hot especially with the long wait times.

This was just the first time. I saw other options of interest such as the street tacos and tamales. If there’s a return it would be to try one or all of those options. Maybe, just maybe the experience will be better. For now, Alphonso’s Breakfast Burritos will receive 2 ⭐️⭐️’s.

Don’t believe everything on social media!
